I reached out to Mr. Liss over a weekend and was surprised to receive a call back rather quickly. I explained our situation and he answered a number of questions for me. Peter Liss is one of the best Attorneys out there. He helped both me and my spouse get through the legal system with ease. He explains everything is non legal terms and goes out of his way to help you the best way he can. Peter was wonderful. My family went through a very difficult time when my brother was arrested. Peter was extremely helpful and patient. I recently had the opportunity to observe Mr. Liss at a preliminary trial and his skills convinced me that if a member of my family ever needed a criminal attorney, I would seek his services. At trial, Liss was so effective and persuasive that he achieved a great result for his client. Most attorneys would have agreed to a quick plea but Liss was persistent and would not settle for anything less than the desired outcome. I recently got a DUI. and I blew a .12, which isn't terrible considering it was my first. However I hit another driver in the process (on the freeway mind you) totally wrecked his car and also injured the lone passenger. It was really scary, and automatically I was going to be convicted with a DUI Felony. I was absolutely terrified because I had a clean record and now I was going to get a Felony! That's a stain that pretty much never can be expunged off your record. So I did my research and contacted around 8 different attorneys/legal firms in the San Diego County area. Some of them dealt specifically with DUI's others did a variety of legal practices. I found Peter Liss online through another attorney, who referred Mr. Liss to me. Boy did he come through for me! I didn't have to serve any extra jail time, I ended up with a DUI Misdemeanor which is essentially a slap on the wrist and only 3 months of OHS classes as rehabilitation. He also was diligent enough to get my fines reduced, not to mention he was very flexible as far as the cost. It wasn't an arm an a leg to retain him, and any time I needed him he was there (un-like the public defender I was assigned)

I believe in Attorney Paula Kleinman’s ability and expertise so much that I am writing my first review ever in the hopes that she can help your family as much as she has helped mine. Initially, I tried to handle my case myself but after going to court I quickly realized I was in way over my head. I contacted Paula at the last minute, leaving her less than a week to familiarize herself with my case. Instead of turning me away, she just looked at her schedule and started naming off dates and times she could squeeze me in to prepare for court. Paula was incredibly easy to work with and showed great compassion for what I was going through. Obviously, family court is never going to be a fun or happy experience but my meetings with Paula managed to lighten the mood and gave me the confidence to keep going. She did her best to keep our costs down every step of the way. For instance, we were trying to obtain court records from out of state and for some strange reason the court charged far less if you used a Discover card. My husband and I just sat back and laughed as Paula rushed around her office trying to find anyone with a Discover card. She also gave me options I didn’t even know existed. Paula effectively negotiated with everyone involved and reached an agreement we could all accept, thus, ending any future court appearances, lawyers’ fees and most importantly the stress and pain this ordeal was causing my family and me. I firmly believe Paula’s tactful persistence is the only reason I was able to end this painful chapter in my life so quickly. Paula will fight tooth and nail for her clients but she does so with tact and class. That is why I would whole-heartedly recommend Attorney Paula Kleinman to all my friends, family and even strangers on the street if they were in need of an outstanding family lawyer.
