Cons
1
Inconsistent service quality and unprofessional behavior from some lawyers
“Once you give them the retainer they halt work on your file. It took Paula 3.5 months to file my original paperwork after the initial meeting. At the original meeting Paula said I had bad breath and it smelled like bad sausage possibly due to my terminal illness.”
2
Lack of transparency and overcharging
“I was being charged for my ex calling to chat about his paperwork since he didn't have an attorney and didn't understand his forms. I was being charged for forms being reviewed by another attorney. I was charged for serving my ex the income and debt declaration and filing it. It actually was never served and never filed.”
