Paula Kleinman has aided and guided me through various family law issues, filing new motions, and advocating in court on my behalf. She has been attentive to my questions, prompt to response and accessible via phone, text and email. Extremely knowledgeable and organized. Her staff are a pleasure to interact with. I recommend giving Paula Kleinman the opportunity to look over your case and trust she will represent you to the best of her abilities as she has demonstrated first hand in my case.

Everything was at stake when I called Paula Kleinman. At first I tried to defend myself. It seemed to me like an open and shut case. The opposing party admitted in court to having no evidence other than their testimony. Unfortunately under our legal system their testimony was enough for the judge to drag the case out in multiple hearings over four months! I felt extremely frustrated, resentful, anxious and like I had absolutely no voice in the process that was consuming my life. At my wits end, I picked up the telephone and contacted Paula. When she began representing me she was at a disadvantage because I had already tried to represent myself (rather poorly) over multiple hearings. But she grasped the details quickly. She represented me at the final hearing and won the case without me saying a word. During the hearing the judge actually stated to me that I had "an excellent attorney". It was at that moment I began to feel confident for the first time in months. We won the case that day. This experience taught me a valuable lesson. I learned that, when it comes to legal matters, it's not enough to have the truth on your side. Unless you are an expert in the law, the truth may never even be heard in court because judges are unpredictable and witnesses can be vengeful, untruthful or even suffering from mental health issues which are not considered by the court. Without Paula I believe there would have been a terrible miscarriage of justice.

Paula helped me get all the right documents I needed to get a divorce and get full custody of my child. She appeared at court and handled the situation very well and was prepared and organized. If I didn't understand something she would step by step explain it to me. Paula kept me informed so I never had to worry. At the end of it all I got my divorce and I got full custody of my child.

I hired Paula Kleinman to help me get unsupervised visits with my children after they were requested by my child’s mother due to a brain injury. At the initial meeting with Paula, she made me feel like she would be able to get me unsupervised visitation until she received the $3500 retainer fee and thats when her whole approach and effort changed. At my court hearing, she asked to sit and have a meeting with my sons mother that lasted over 2 hours at $300 a hour. During the meeting, there weren’t any points made by Paula, she was basically an expensive spectator or interpreter. When the meeting was completed she was not able to get me 1 thing I requested of her. I was ordered to have supervised visits at $40 a hour. When I fired Paula I Called and emailed multiple times to receive any remaining funds so I could hire a helpful lawyer, I WAS CHARGED TO FIRE WHICH WAS BILLED AS “Drafted email to client and substitution of attorney” for .2 of a hour $60. When I let her know that I would no longer be needing her services and to send me a substitution of attorney form, there apparently was another determined father that was also firing her that same day as Paula being the genius she is, sent me his substitution of attorney form. So I called no more than twice a day to get her to send the correct form and to receive my refund. I had no idea my refund was dwindling while I was contacting her to receive it. Upon asking Paula Kleinman what she did for me, this was her exact response “Please review the custody order wherein I negotiated you to have no supervised visits and mother to pay one-half of day. Please review the DCSS wherein the one-half payment of the professional supervision will take be applied.” It states she negotiated for me to have no supervised visits and for mother to pay “one-half of day”, now IF no supervised visits were granted then what is mother to pay half of? Mother made the offer to take half of the paid supervisor out of her already over $2000 a month child support. NOT Paula. At the end of everything, Paula was no help to me whatsoever, if anything she hurt me because she couldn’t speak to my child’s mother with respect.

Wonderful attorney, office stuff and legal assistance friendly and helpful. I found Ms Kleinman in challenging times in my life, sudden divorce. Ms Kleinman looked personally into all details of my case and took all needed steps to advocate and stand for my rights. I really appreciate her professional approach and recommend her as she is a great attorney!

Paula Kleinman is the definition of professionalism. She was invested in my case and provided me with amazing results. I was in a situation in which my spouse had obtained full custody legal and physical custody of my children. Prior to hiring her, I mistakenly violated a separation agreement and the judge awarded full custody to my spouse. I was only allowed to see my children a few hours during the week and every other weekend. The mediator submitted a report to the court recommending that I only receive 16 hours of supervised visitation per week. The attorney I had during that time was unproductive and not attentive to my case. I sought after a new attorney and came across Paula Kleinman. Immediately I was impressed with her and the staff. They were in constant communication with me and kept me informed of all aspects in terms of what we were preparing and possible outcomes. When we arrived at court to determine the permanent custody she was nothing less than amazing. She spoke first at the hearing and she predicted everything that my spouse’s attorney would argue. Without any doubt she explained that all of my spouse’s allegations were false and without merit. When it was my spouse’s attorney’s time to speak she seemed to be dumbfounded and without a position. Ultimately the judge awarded joint custody and split visitation. There was a tremendous amount of uncertainty and the odds were not in my favor. Paula Kleinman is the only reason the results came out this way. I recommend her at the highest level. She is trustworthy and a true professional that will invest in your case and provide a work ethic that is second to none!

If you are a military spouse, need an aggressive attorney who is knowledgeable about family law...DO NOT GO TO HER! I gave this attorney my last 2k for a retainer, she worked (I use that term very loosely) on the case for 3 months at the most. Once she went through the retainer...which I don't know how since she did nothing for me. She represented me in court and talked negatively about me to the other party. She stated she couldn't represent me TO him and his attorney. Not only was this verified through my husband but also in emails from his attorney. How unprofessional and disrespectful of an attorney. Also, convenient for her that the retainer was gone when she started asking to withdraw from the case. She then ignored my phone calls and emails for over a month and a half and told the other party I was not responding. I have actual billing statements given to me by the other party that show this. A week before my trial, sent me an email to sign a paper to get another attorney. I even asked her to send one email to the other party to try and resolve the case and no response. Besides her complete incompetency, her responses she prepared were nothing like a trained professional would write.

Attorney Paula Kleinman is an EXCELLENT attorney! I had a custody battle with my ex-husband who violated a court order and did not return my 2 minor children home. Paula and her staff were ALWAYS professional and very hard workers. My case was complex and Paula was VERY knowledgeable about what to do next. If she got stuck in a hard spot, she discussed my options with me and sometimes sought advice from experienced colleagues if need be. Paula is an HONEST attorney who will fight til death for what is right. I needed a Bull-Dog -Go-Getter type of attorney, and I'm glad I found her! Her job is not just a paycheck, she was very passionate about my case!!! RECOMMEND A THOUSAND TIMES!

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Paula Kleinman. I retained Paula after my miserable and costly experience with a previous attorney. She worked zealously on my case. Paula was compassionate and easy to talk to when discussing my case and the actions that needed to be taken. Her staff was pleasant and would bend over backwards to make me comfortable and knowledgeable on what was going on with my case. It is hard to find an understanding attorney who will take the time to know you on a personal level. I had a very litigious divorce case, but Paula handled it gracefully and with sensible attorney’s fees. From the research I did prior to hiring Paula, her rates are very reasonable and her services worthwhile. I am shocked to see that other clients had a terrible experience with Paula. I would recommend Paula to anyone and everyone, as she is a marvelous attorney who knows the law, and works diligently around the clock to achieve success.
