BRILLIANT, well respected attorney that sincerely cares about his clients. Tom is your guy, look no further! Our oldest son made some seriously bad decisions on the cusp of his 18th birthday resulting in his incarceration. Due to the seriousness of the charges we were almost positive that he would be charged as an adult, feared that the sentence would be a minimum of 5 years either way and had no idea what to do. Thank goodness our friend referred us to Tom Mckenna!!! This was a very scary and emotional time for our family, And from the very 1st call with his knowledgeable caring and courteous assistant Leah, we were put at ease knowing our son's case was in the best hands possible. From there, Tom took care of EVERYTHING! He checked in regularly and kept us up to speed. When we had court dates we were almost always the first called and it was clear that Tom was well liked and respected by the judges (which never hurts). He was always prepared, and ready for anything the DA threw at him. Tom relentlessly defended our son and fought for the best possible outcome, which for us was our son being charged as a minor and recieving a sentence that allowed him to rehabilitate in a safe environment. (I could not have slept at night if our son went to CYA or Prison knowing what happens in those places. Less than 1 year later our son is back home and changed young man looking forward to a bright future. Tom was even able to get his record sealed once he successfully completes probation, which means our son wont have the dark shadow of this mistake forever cast upon every school application and job interview. Tom literally thought of everything! Tom literally changed the trajectory of our sons life for the better, best choice we ever made!!!

Thomas McKenna is true to his word. His website advertises that if you don't need a lawyer, he will tell you. I was actually skeptical about this, given the stigma associated with lawyers - but instead of trying to charge me for unnecessary legal fees - he plainly told me that I didn't need an attorney for my situation. Given my legal ignorance he could have easily billed me an hour or two and I wouldn't have questioned it. His free advise went above and beyond my expectations. His office assistant was friendly and Thomas took time to call me back quickly and seemed knowledgeable with how things are done locally. This put me at ease. I would highly recommend Thomas F. Tom was the lawyer I went to when i came across legal problems. He guided me through these issues with finesse and humanity that eased my anxiety. When it comes to lawyers Tom McKenna is one of the best. I’ve used Tom twice, once for a third Dui and the other for a felony second degree burglary charge. From my experience he was very honest about the possible time I would serve in jail. My third dui was in contra costa county, with Tom’s strategies we were able to avoid the mandatory jail time. For my (2nd) felony charge Tom took this case in a different county, even with him not being familiar with the courtroom staff, he was able to achieve an unbelievable outcome of no jail time. His assistant Leah was always informative and stayed on top of my case and promptly gave me information that was needed. As we all know everyone’s situations are different, but I feel that Tom will work with you and help to get the best possible outcome out of any negative situation. I would highly recommend Tom McKenna to anyone.

Tom was amazing to work with. The communication we had not only with him but his team was great. He answered all of my questions and was able to provide any explanation when I got something new in the mail. All in all my experience was very good, from the communication to the personable feelings I had when I first walked into his office. Tom helped explain the legal process, told me what I might anticipate in terms of short-term and long-term consequences, assisted in guiding me to various lines of defensive evidence, responded promptly to my questions, and eventually (after 3 months), my case was dismissed with no lasting repercussions. He did help make a miserable experience pass as smoothly as possible.
