My husband and I used to rent out our in-law (garage level) apartment and were being sued by our former tenant. She had not paid rent on the apartment for at least a year and we had no knowledge of how the legal system in San Francisco operated so we had no choice but to get a lawyer and take the apartment off the marker in order to make the tenant move out. The tenant fully intended on living in our home for free for the rest of her life and so sued us for evicting her. Alex gave us advice and took us through complicated matters such as working with our home-owners insurance- something other lawyers had advised against but ended up saving us a lot of money. He was thorough, trustworthy, confident, and supportive, and we cannot thank Alex enough! He went above and beyond and is the best lawyer I could have asked for.
