Hands down the best thing that ever happened to me, was having Candelaria Law represent me. Especially Mariam & Alice. They are truly amazing at what they do! They care about their clients. Mariam worked hard on my case & represented me in a way I couldn’t, she always made sure to get every last detail & was very thorough. If I had any questions Mariam made sure give me an answer & if she wasn’t sure, she would ask Alice & I don’t think there was anything Alice couldn’t answer. Danya, she always had things uploaded online, made sure to touch bases with me to tell me when my court appearances were & if there was something they needed on my end! I went thro the ordeal of being sued over child support and child custody, complicated due to being interstate issue. I was confused since I found so many attorneys on Google search, my attorney in Dallas Julie Kirkpatrick found Alice Cheng after talking to multiple people and got me in contact with Alice Cheng from Candelaria law. I had a time sensitive issue due to Xmas and new year approaching but Alice and her team including Zoe Brown , Kaitlin Roach were just amazing. They knew exactly what to do, worked thro the holidays, held meetings with me and we got the expected right verdict. I cannot thank enough Alice, Zoe and Kaitlin , just a phenomenal team, always extremely responsive to emails, calls, approachable and guide the client really well thro the complicated legal system. They are always well prepared, aggressive and care about the client. I would highly recommend Alice Cheng, Zoe Brown and Kaitlin Roach to anyone needing legal help. This law firm, their intake system, their owner and their gatekeeper, are all extremely shady. They insult your intelligence by being brazenly dishonest. First I asked if one of the attorneys was taking new clients to which the man said yes. Then he asked why I needed to change my attorney. It is unethical to deny a client because they had a bad experience with a prior divorce lawyer. Is this firm saying all divorce lawyers are great so as a rule, you should stay with whoever incompetent fee-gobbling divorce lawyer you started with? The fact that the man knowingly lied into my face was incredible. I know they take clients on a routine basis who are disenchanted and have not been well served by others. I was referred to them by such a client. When I told the gatekeeper man this, he sheepishly said " oh yes, some time ago they made this policy". Another lie. Some time a go as of last week? If that is the case, they should advertise they only take clients who have never been represented previously which is another deceitful statement! The owner, Candelaria sets the tone. She charged me two hours for a consultation which was none, where she sat, took her lunch break, and offered zero advice, then after two hours called me back and said, oh I just took a case this afternoon and cannot take yours. Another lying, unethical woman. The divorce attorneys overall are shameless and feed on clients' misery, but to be this brazen, she is in a whole class of her own. This firm and the owner, Candelaria are scam artists, period.
