I got a speeding ticket which resulted in a hefty fine that I thought was exorbitant for going a little over the speed limit in a commercial area. I consulted with James Fishel to see if I have any available options, and I am so glad that I did. After talking to me in detail, he contested my ticket with a detailed written response. All i had to do was submit the response to the court. My ticket was waived and I was found not guilty. I will highly recommend James Fishel for his knowledge and his professionalism.

I happily returned to Mr. Fishel when I needed advice on another post-divorce issue (no further action was needed!) and will not hesitate to contact him again if necessary.

Jim's philosophy was to put the best interest of the children as the highest priority & that was my mission also in my divorce. It was not a contentious divorce & he helped maintain that theme. Every now & then, I would get excited about something and Jim would help me strategize and offered great advice. Highly recommend.

Mr. Fishel turned out to be the epitome of what people despise in lawyers. Beyond the typical over billing for services never rendered or padding time (even for times that I was right in the office and could never have spent the time he accounted), his absolute act of "lawyerism" was to not show up to my court date!! You figure that if I can drive 500 miles with my 1yo son in tow that Mr. Fishel could have at least shown up to the appt. He instead played like he had no idea that he should have been in court, even after he was the one that got the date in the first place!!! (Yes, I have the court records that show my attorney-of-record not present!!) He was an OK person to talk with and work on issues with, but he failed me miserably when the time came. I would avoid this attorney unless you have no other choice!
