I would agree with most positive reviews about Ethan and more. I have known his father Merritt professionally for a long time and I met Ethan years ago at their office. Ethan was a young sharp attorney then and he is a brilliant attorney now. My divorce was complex and difficult as it emanated from a foreign marriage. Ethan was not only prepared to deal with issues dealing with an ill conceived attempt at a reconciliation of marriage but also with issues stemming from a foreign marriage contract. He not only navigated through the reconciliation issues but also complex property issues, alimony, child support, custody and visitation aspects of the case. I couldn't have hired a more knowledgeable, aggressive and well prepared attorney. I could write a brief on Ethan. He is not only readily accessible but friendly and down to earth. There's no hint of arrogance or standoffish that you might find with other attorneys. I would say Ethan takes each case very personal and high professional. I never thought I would ever find a lawyer who could assist collect a divorce settlement awarded to me six years ago. It was easy to speak with him over the phone, as it was in person, in his office. My first impression was, he is bright, experienced and skilled in family law, sincere, and will definitely protect my interest as his client. During my visit in his office, I did not have a second thought at all to hire him and represent me. And during the process, he was always available to receive or return my calls to answer further questions, inquiries, or clarifications. He was way on time during the court set date. At the court, he was very focused, steady, so professional during the back and forth negotiation with the other party. And he has explained to me his back-up strategies if things do not turn out exactly as he intended. Guess what, Ethan had successfully make the other party reveal his assets, present recommendation to the presiding Judge, and best of all, immediate payments of QDRO judgement. I am a Pastor and Educator from Texas and I needed a Lawyer in Contra Costa County. After calling over 10 lawyers in Contra Costa County I was re-leaved to speak with Ethan. It was clear from our initial conversation that he had passion and enthusiasm for my case. Ethan is plain spoken and gets to the point, (being from Texas I like when a man speaks his mind clearly without beating around the bush). He is professional and responsive to all issues and questions I have on my complicated and tiring child custody battle with my ex husband.

Ethan Weisinger is a young, aggressive and charming lawyer. He knows family law, handles himself professionally in court, and has the patience to actually hear what I was saying. Unlike his father Merritt Weisinger who has more experience and less patience, he is a people person who was able to relate to me as a person with problems rather than as a piece on a chessboard. These attorneys work together well but I prefer Ethan who is easlier to work with.
