We moved from New York to California last year and have been looking for an Estate planning attorney to update our plan. Jonathan Black missed a filing deadline, jeopardizing my position in an easy-win case. He was working on an even easier case, but said I was too reluctant to settle. He sent me a $5,000 refund- on a $75,000 retainer., and wants to just walk away. Also, seems to me associates last a few months, then quit. I’m filing a complaint with the BAR.

Child custody cases can be so stressful & emotional, it is important to have a great attorney by your side. Ethan Weisinger was amazing!!! Not only did he help me get everything I wanted (a fair & equitable parenting plan) but he defended me against malicious allegations & demands for 12k in attorneys fees! During my difficult divorce I had another firm start on the case. I wanted to finish it as soon as I could. After about 3 and a half years my attorney from the previous firm left. I started looking for a new attorney to finish the case. After several interviews with attorneys I found Ethan at Bay Area Family Law. He was in my opinion an expert in Family Law. His office always listened to me and gave me all of my options. But the decisions were left to me. How I wanted it. They filed paperwork efficiently and kept me updated on what was filed and when court would be. In court Ethan was amazing was prepared for everything. His opening and closing arguments cited case Law information and the facts. When he questioned a witness he was through to get the facts for the Judge.
