I want to thank Attorney Fleming for being such an amazing and effective lawyer at such a tough time in my life. I’m a student at the University of California. While driving home from getting food, I was pulled over and arrested for a DUI which was undoubtedly rock bottom. I felt so disappointed in myself but worst of all I had disappointed my family who worked so hard for me to pay for my school. Everything in my life felt hopeless until one of my friends, who was represented by Mr. Fleming for a DUI case, introduced me to him. I gave him a call the next day and he gave me such amazing advice and comfort. Mr. Fleming is someone that you always want on your side at a time like this because he has a lot of experience and connections, but he’s also such an amazing mentor. Going into the case, we pled not guilty and Mr. Fleming was able to get the DUI dropped to a Wet and Reckless which is a miracle in Santa Cruz which is notoriously known to be strict when it comes to drinking and driving. It doesn’t just stop here. He was able to get the court and prosecutor to agree to find me NOT GUILTY of the DUI. (called the Helmandollar order) The court and the prosecutor had never even heard of this order, but Mr. Fleming got them to agree to it. This forced the DMV to find me not guilty at the DMV hearing. That means my license was never suspended. And in 10 months, he’ll help me to get the Wet and Reckless case expunged. All I needed to do was pay a very small court fine that Mr. Fleming had negotiated, and take a 12-hour online class. This is nothing less of a miracle and I’m so blessed to have Mr. Fleming representing me. I will never make this mistake again but Mr. Fleming had made this situation such an amazing lesson and to know that God is on my side.

After my accident, I had to deal with severe injuries, but this law company made the legal process easy. Their group was really understanding and helpful. In one of the worst episodes of my life, I faced a very serious second-time DUI charge with a high BAC which could easily have resulted in jail time, and to make matters worse, I had to face it from out-of-state as I live in a different state. I can't describe the fear that I felt as I thought life as I knew it might be over, and an unknowable horror awaited me in the future. It truly did feel like a miracle that I would not be sentenced to jail time. Instead I was only told do to only do 8 hours of volunteer work at any charity. What was required of me instead were all things that were good for me and which I would gladly do - not things that would tear me down and upend my life like jail time would have. I can't express my gratitude to God and to Mr. Fleming enough - but what I can do is pay it forward! I certainly will be spending the rest of my life happily doing that, and hopefully helping to bring peace and healing to others who are facing similar things.

First I would like to appreciate everything Thomas has done for me and my dui case. I honestly felt so scared after my accident especially because others were involved . My case was a very tough one due to my BAC and me hitting someone else. Luckily no one was severely injured. Thanks to Thomas my case was lowered to a wet reckless and they gave me the best deal I could possibly get thanks to such an amazing talented lawyer. Thomas also got the court to actually find me not guilty of the dui , which means under the law that dmv was ordered to also find me not guilty so that I never lost my license. I struggled finding a lawyer and hesitated but honestly I went with my gut feeling and I prayed to god that I would find someone who could really help me out in probably what was been one of the toughest positions in my life.
