I am working on opening my own business. Being a novice and having no experience in this field, I knew I needed some professional consultation, advice, and guidance. Mine is an intellectual property. I frisked the internet and found a handful of competent lawyers. Reached out to all of them and carefully listened to what they had to say. Although, I am novice in this field, nonetheless I had well defined goals in my mind. First, I wanted to thoroughly protect my intellectual property and business, and foreseeing large expenses, I wanted to save money on taxes. Michael Geller was one of the few lawyers who along with offering free consultation was very clear and thorough in his explanation of the process. After our almost two-and-a-half-hour meeting, I had a very good understanding of how to protect my intellectual property, and how to save money on taxes, and how to incorporate and maintain my business successfully. Moreover, Mr. Geller also explained how to get legal agreements in place and what types of insurances are available and are necessary. Lastly, Mr. Geller gave some valuable advice on how to properly set up my financial system. The meeting was fruitful. I still have some more lawyers in the list, but now I have no doubts about Mr. Gellers competency in the field and knowledge of business.

It was a devastating story to hear. But from his family’s unfortunate experience, grew Michael’s desire and personal goal to help other families avoid what his family had gone through. Knowing that Michael has our family’s best interest in mind made us feel very comfortable in sharing our personal information with him. Michael made the entire process run smoothly and seamlessly. He even came to our house for our appointment knowing that it would be a comfortable and private place for us to discuss our personal information. He also anticipated that it would be convenient for us to have easy access to all of our documents and files at home that he needed to prepare our living trust and will. Michael spent a considerable amount of time and effort in asking us the right questions - thought provoking questions for which some of them we had never even thought about before, all of the “what if’s” and the possible outcomes based on the decisions we made. He provided many examples and different scenarios and gave good, sound advice, while acknowledging that ultimately all of the decisions were to be made by us. Michael communicated clearly and spoke in a way that made it easy to understand. If there was anything we didn’t understand or wasn't clear on, he would explain it in a way that was easy to understand, using simple terms since we weren’t familiar with some of the legal terms and what they meant. Life is filled with uncertainties and 2020 was a major wake up call! There’s peace and comfort in knowing that we can manage a certain amount of “control” in our lives by preparing for our family’s future with proper estate planning. I am so happy I contacted this firm regarding my HOA and non-disclosure. We are first time home buyers and knowing that when we bought our first house that things will be peaceful ; however our HOA started harassing us in regards to the AC that we have that there’s no permit . First of All, we bought the house with the AC and that is why we closed the escrow. After 6 months living in the house that is when we started getting emails and calls from HOA that we have to get a permit for our AC. Long story short . I spoke with Michael Geller and he knows what he is doing. He is knowledgeable and up to date about the rules and regulations, he walked us through the current laws. In this tough time of Pandemic, when life is miserable enough , what you don’t need is an abusive HOA which you are paying to guide you and help not harass us to the extent that we wanted to sell our house. The previous owner of our house didn't disclose a history of AC that has no permit. At a certain point I know we had a case and needed an attorney. We didn't want to spend time and money on a legal dispute unless he thought we would win, and that the financial outcome would justify the effort we would have to put it into it ( and it was a lot of effort) . We continued to work with Michael . Eventually we were able to reach a settlement in our favor. Overall, I think Michael did a good job helping us to understand the law and legal process , and the strengths and weaknesses of our case. I now know more about the real estate law and seller non-disclosure disputes than we ever wanted to. This was a very new situation for us , and I found the situation extremely stressful at times.I am very glad we chose Michael Geller firm to represent us and I felt that we could trust this firm and rely on their experience and expertise in real estate law and abusive HOA.

We had hired Mr Geller for our estate planning. At first, I was not sure if I needed one or how to begin but my free consultation was mainly about delineating the advantages of creating a trust and how it helps in the future.
