I hired him before on a different case. I filed bankruptcy. I owed money to someone he knew and he called me angry about the debt. He asking me why I did that. I told him I had to file bankruptcy. Later he called me to his house to help him with something. And that's when it happened. His dog attacked me at his house in Woodland Hills and he's acted like it didn't happen. His two daughters were sitting on the couch and watched the whole thing happen. All they did was laugh. When I was on the ground in pain, he asked, wasn't it your birthday yestoday? And I said yes and he said Happy Birthday. In court they awarded me $50,000 pain and suffering but nothing for my medical. My medical bills were over $50,000. I ended up with nothing but pain. He's a true gangster.

My husband was on probation and was subject to "probation sweeps" by LAPD periodically. During a sweep, LAPD tried to fabricate a case against my husband because they found 2 bullets buried in a pile of dirt, junk and crap in our garage that we had no idea was there. They arrested him and were trying to give him 2 years in prison. I knew if I allowed the public defender to continue representing my husband, he would be sent to jail for a crime he did not commit. I called Todd Melnik and he met with me that evening and I explained the situation. He instantly went to work while I was sitting in his office, making phone calls and gathering info. He is very kind, patient, and always has a smile. He returns phone calls and emails very quickly, and always takes your concerns seriously. He was very accommodating with his fee, which is also extremely reasonable. Todd was able to have the ridiculous case dismissed during the preliminary hearing.

My experience with Todd Melnik was wonderful! From the very first appt, Todd made me feel comfortable starting with his warm and caring attitude. I was very impressed with how my case was handled. And in the court I was not even asked a question due to the work that Todd Melnik had put into this case. He was easy to get a hold of and very informative. If I ever need another criminal attorney I will not think twice before calling him. I highly recommend Todd Melnik to anyone who requires legal representation.

He took a very serious and very complicated criminal case for me and worked on it for nearly a year finally getting a positive outcome. He was professional, very bright, supportive and helpful. I would absolutely recommended Mr. Melnik if you find yourself in an unfortunate criminal situation.

I hired Todd to have an old juvenile record of mine selaed. Todd immediately looked in to the matter and got back to me within a few hours. He told me that it was usually a 6 month process to have everything sealed and completed. I told him the urgency I was facing and he said he would see what he could do. Over the next 4 weeks Todd worked tirelessly to have my files brought out of the archives so they could be sealed. All while staying in constant contact with me. After using some of his connections at the DA and the juvenile court, Todd was able to have my file sealed 5 months ahead of schedule! Todd is a friendly and easy to talk to lawyer who is truly willing to go above and beyond what is expected for his clients. I would not hesitate to strongly recommend Todd to anyone in need of his expertise.

This guy makes completely false promises especially when he first meets you and will say anything and lie directly to your face to make himself look good and to make you falsely believe he can do anything to make it better for you. He will give you the impression he is GOD. He is extremely expensive and over priced too! and you don't get your moneys worth or ANYTHING HE HAD PROMISED. He tells you to make a cash deposit into his bank account before he will do anything for you. BEWARE BIG BIG MISTAKE! because doing this you just lost all your money. He'll tell you he is working on your case when in reality he isn't doing a darn thing and if you insist on status updates he will lie to you, give you the runaround or completely ignore you and just never answers you. When he gets tired of you contacting him, you will then see his true self the nasty sarcastic stop bothering me attitude.....pretty unbelievable after you just paid him thousands of dollars! The biggest mistake was having this guy represent you. NEVER EVER AGAIN! If you ask him to do the things he had first promised you before you gave him the money, he will tell you if you want me to do that it will cost you more money.

One of the biggest mistakes I made in was hiring Todd melnik, He might only be good for a traffic lawyer but for a criminal case? I don't think so! Always asks about money before he tells you any news! Doesn't have knowledge about how to work with prosecutors! Wants you to take the first deal they offer! Will lie to you and tell you 7 years in prison is a good deal for (forgery), which my other lawyer got me probation! He would tell me to get him clients, when I would call to find out info about my case! I would NOT recommend Todd Melnik, I'm not saying he's a terrible person, I'm only saying for criminal lawyer, he's not your guy, trust me on this, I lost my money with him and I almost lost a long part of my life! He just doesn't out his heart in it , I've had many lawyers in the past, Todd Melnik is the poorest grade I will give. Thanks
