Summary: As a US citizen, the services provided are not worth the amount paid. If you are starting a business and want an expensive checklist then this is for you. I wanted to start a small business, but had no idea where to start. I came across Sam's website and it seemed as though he did everything required to help get set up. I asked a few additional questions about his services and although his responses were vague, I thought, "I'm willing to sacrifice this money to avoid making any mistakes." I paid Sam, and he filed for my LLC that night. The next day I received an email with the certificate, and a couple of documents. The documents looked like they were more or less a template that could be copy/pasted. But it would have taken me a long time (if I even found out what papers I needed) and I was grateful. He also sent me a checklist of other items I needed to do for compliance in my state. I tried to complete this and didn't know some of the answers to the questions. But each time I asked Sam about my state's requirements he told me he didn't deal with those specific concerns but that if I followed the steps he provided, I would be okay. Then he asked if I would leave a review. After a few times of asking questions that were not directly answered and being asked to leave a review each time, I explained that I felt like I paid a lot of money and hadn't received much help. He replied that he did everything he promised. Considering the package is called "Start a business", what he promised was somewhat misleading. He listed out that he filed for the company, and drafted the Articles of Organization, etc. I did not know what else it took to start a business, and the site leaves out the fact that there is actually a lot more to do after you "start a business". So I told him, yes, you did everything you told me you would do, however, I explained that his site was vague in certain areas, and I would post an honest review so people are aware of what they are getting into. He responded with an email saying "Why are you giving me a hard time at this point?" This didn't seem very professional, I was not being rude or threatening, just telling him what some of my pain points were so he could have a chance to address them. I told him I was just trying to get his side before posting my review, and reminded him he had stated that "My service also comes with a 100% Money-Back Guarantee: if you're not satisfied with my service for any reason, just let me know within 30 days and I will issue you a full refund of the service fee." (Direct from the website and email), and told him that I was not satisfied and would like my money back. He did not respond. Four days later, I emailed and told him I was leaving a review, and he responded within thirty minutes. He told me that his money back guarantee is typically for clients who he hasn’t completely rendered the service for. But from now on, in order not to upset anyone like me, he will remove the Money Back Guarantee. In conclusion, it seems he deals primarily with people that are foreign to the US. Maybe his services for them are great. Personally If I am paying as much as I did, I would expect my business to be operational and to be able to sell when 'service is fully rendered' by a company that sells a package titled 'start a business'.
