I just wanted to follow up with you and say Thank you! I really appreciate the help and guidance you offered to help my Kids and I. I believe you overcame normal precedence regarding timelines and was able to ensure the judge had a complete picture of what was going on. I really appreciate your help and I hope that my friends and family are never in need of a divorce lawyer, but in the event they are, I know the best to recommend. I was a victim of severe abuse. I made an email appointment with her for a certain time, 1:30 p.m.. I showed up early for my appointment at 1:30 p.m., all the while my abusive ex was calling me wondering where I was (as they do) I show up at 1:30 p.m., the assistant lets me know that I am late for my 1:00 appointment. I am shamed, and made to seem unprofessional for showing up late. "MAYBE" they can fit me in. She told me there was not much she could do for my situation, and it was not helpful. She made me feel more helpless than when I came in to her office. I was made to wait extra time in the waiting room, which I did not have, because they had double booked appointments. I had to rush through an explanation of my very extreme situation, which in itself was a traumatic, only to be met with indifference and no answers. I later looked at the emails, and the appointment time was for 1:30 and she was actually incorrect and had shamed me and made me feel helpless for no reason. after that point, I messaged her and said "by the way my appointment time was actually for 1:30 pm.," Which was correct. They incorrectly scheduled my appointment then shamed me for being late. She never responded, or acknowledged the fact that she was wrong. She made me feel effectively more alone than I had before the time I walked into her office which I thought was impossible. Thanks a lot, Yana. Edit: damn straight no one from this office represented me 😂😂😂 no one did. I got out of this situation alone, and the one time I reached out for help was to this lawyer. She made me feel like my situation was a lost cause, and it was absolutely not the receptionist that was cold, dismissive and unhelpful. It was Yana. This lawyer MIGHT be alright if you are in a situation that does NOT require urgency, or compassion as mine did. My encounter with her made me fully understand why people don't like lawyers, and I try very hard not to generalize that way. It's the reason that I still haven't approached a lawyer since, and will do my best to represent myself in all future situations. I'll keep my thousands and talk to the courts thanks, they are much more helpful and informative than this person was to me.

I have asked Yana to work with me on some modifications once again. She has worked with me several times over the past 7 years. I continue to go to Yana for my legal matters because she always pays attention to detail, listens to what I am concerned about and tells me what can work and what cannot work based on the current law; not just based on her opinion. She's great at suggesting solutions but allows me to decide on whether to move forward with those ideas or not. She helps me see both sides of the case so I can make the best decisions regarding my family situation. I am also impressed on her prompt responses to my emails and that she prepared my paperwork in a timely manner. She's always professional and willing to answer all my questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a family law attorney.

I cannot thank Yana enough. She saved the day for me. I first hired another attorney in the area who turned out to be completely incompetent. He did not return messages, did not update me on anything. I had to eat my loss on that which was huge. I went with Yana and she closed my case quickly. She replied to phone calls and emails very fast. She kept me up to date with everything. She not only worked quickly, but made sure to use the retainer money wisely. Her costs ended up being less than the attorney I had to fire. Save yourself a lot of heartache. I pray you never need an attorney, but if you end up in my situation, Yana is the person you need.
