Lauren is effective because she combines compassion with power. Her knowledge of what to do and ability to strategize meant that she did not rush through my case for her easy profit. She worked hard for ME, not for her firm or for herself. Lauren always had my interests in mind and negotiated a settlement beyond what I had hoped for. Lauren is not afraid to take the case to trial because she’s talented. This helps bring in a fair settlement. She does not inflate her settlement expectations with a sales technique you see in commercials. She is fair and reasonable with her settlement expectations and assertive in achieving these expectations. In spite of my lack of understanding of how the legal process works, she never spoke condescendingly to me. She made my small case feel as important as a million dollar settlement. She took her time with my questions and answered the same question the third time with as much clarity, patience, and detail as she answered it the first time.

My case involved working with Lauren from another state and she proved to be the best fit I could have asked for. I was injured in Chicago on vacation but lived in Mississippi so there was mostly email and phone conversation. She was so accommodating to all my questions and so patient with me especially since I have never needed a lawyer before this experience. Debbie is the best. She is thorough, competent, ethical, principled - - and an amazing trial lawyer.
I suffered excruciating neck pain after being rear-ended by another motorist. Although the other driver was at fault, their insurance company dismissed my injuries because my car had suffered only minor damage. This meant my case had to go to jury trial. Debbie did such a superb job of presenting my case that the jury found in my favor and awarded me damages.
Debbie did an amazing job of representing me during trial. She was calm, polished and professional. She was incredibly well prepared and knew the case inside and out. She presented complex medical information in a way that was easy to understand. She kept me calm (not an easy task) and helped me through one of the most difficult situations I've ever had to face.

I was in a motorcycle accident in Florida with my boyfriend that was driving the motorcycle. I lady pulled out in front of us from a side road. We were unable to stop and she hit us. I went over the front of her car and my boyfriend was thrown from the bike. I broke my right arm, I have a plate and ten screws in it and spent three days in the hospital. He broke his leg, ribs, and face & internal injuries, he has double vision in his eye that will never get better. He had two surgeries on his leg and has a rod in it. He spent three weeks in the hospital. I called Mr. Buckfire's office and he started the paper work before we even left the hospital. We had Mr. George Burke as our lawyer and he was great. If we had any questions we could call him and he would help us right away we never had to wait. Our claim was settled in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him.

My daughter was involved in an automotbile accident in an intersection on her 17th birthday. The other person said it was her fault and my daughter said her light was green. I am not the sort of person who sues but my insurance company was useless and all they wanted to do was pay the other guy and close the claim. My own insurance company gave me no choice but to hire an attorney. I looked at the television and what I was looking for was someone local and someone who was a fighter. I found Glenn Guenard and Ross Bozarth.
They knew going in that was not big on suing. They took control and proved my daughter was noit at fault which alone saved my hundreds of dollars and then they settled her case and got her money for a new car. These 2 men worked for me and my daughter and if you want someone on your side I highly recommend these men.

I first hired Bill as an attorney on a housing issue several years ago. He immediately got to work on my case. Within a day, he had waded through some complex local and state housing laws and explained to me in very easy-to-understand terms about what my options were. He was patient and friendly the whole time. After some back and forth with the other party, he wrote a contract that resolved my issue quickly.
Since then, Bill has been my go-to for advice and consultation on anything legally related. He is always friendly and fair, and I never feel like he is pressuring me to hire him (in fact, he almost always gives good advice and then tells me that I don't need to hire an attorney).

When I first began to realize I might need an attorney, never having the need before, I was at a loss as to how to find a good one. So I asked people who work with attorneys and I called those they recommended.
Only one attorney returned my call, Chip Gentry. Chip always returns my calls.
I met with Chip, who appeared to be intelligent, professional, and competent. He listened closely, took notes, and asked questions. He was realistic about the situation I faced, avoided making predictions about how the legal process might turn out, and was conservative in his estimation of potential success.
By the end of our first meeting, I felt listened to, taken seriously, and understood.
I was impressed.
Thus began my journey with Chip Gentry, and in working with him grew to appreciate his obvious legal talent, brilliant strategic and analytical thinking, but most of all his love for justice and our constitutional system of law. He truly loves what he does and is very, very good at it.
I also began to realize and greatly appreciate the fact that his partner Jason Call and their entire staff possess the same level of competence, integrity, and professionalism. They were all involved in my case, working together as a great team.

And I am extremely grateful. I was dealing with my first offense misdemeanor charge and wasn't sure how any of this was going to play out. Honesty and integrity aren't two words that you use too often with lawyers, but Doug Biggs has both qualities. He handled my legal matter with great professionalism and effectiveness. I sent him a check for his services, but he did not receive it as expected. So I dropped off a second check. A few weeks later he received the original check due to a mix up with the postal service. He could have easily deposited the check, but instead he called to inform me that he finally received the original check. He shredded the check per my request. Thank you Mr. Biggs. In September of 2014 I suffered a career ending injury at BNSF Railway. The RR choose to not do the right thing even though I continued to have faith in them. I talked to Jeff on a recommendation of a friend after many broken promises by BNSF. I had only done one thing wrong that night, and that was trusting BNSF to accurately train, and prepare a operator to safely work along side me. I talked with Jeff and he helped ease my mind and finally realize that the RR was not conducting themselves i my best interest or livelihood. My injuries physically were were permanent and the PTSD was overwhelming and learning to deal with it was life altering. Jeff worked tirelessly for me and my future well-being. He fought them like David and Goliath and we won. Due to his tireless work and knowledge of law and his belief in me when I sometimes didn't believe in the end. The RR may think they are a gaint, but they have definitely met their Goliath in his knowledge, strategy and ability to try a case. I contacted Mr. Keith in regards to a law suit filed against my family and my self. He immediately started to work on the case defending each and every member of my family. The Plaintiff almost instantly removed my family members as Defendants upon the overwhelming evidence as of Law that Mr. Keith presented. Subsequently the Plaintiff dropped the case against me.
Initially I thought the case which took over a year was going to be very expensive, but found Mr. Keith to be very reasonable and yet very informative, well manner, very professional, and a true defendant of my interests.

Steve represented us in a very long drawn out eminent domain action vs the city. While we settled our case, our neighbor also was involved with the matter and his case went to trial. After 5 months, Steve prevailed against the city and their three lawyers. As a witness testifying in our neighbors case I was amazed at the level of detail, organization and understanding that the Steve commanded. He made the three experienced attorneys working for the city look like amateurs.

How do I evaluate my lawyer, Steve McKinley? Let me count the ways:
Steve is an excellent communicator. In speaking, as in court, Steve is authoritative, assertive, polished and confident. In writing, in legal documents, Steve is an excellent wordsmith. I can't define what makes a good writer, but I know it when I see it. Steve's writing skills make boring legal docs come to life.
A good lawyer takes care of the details and deadlines-lets me sleep at night free of worry.
A good lawyer is emotionally invested in my case.
A good lawyer truly has my back.
A good lawyer is like the team captain.
Steve is all of these things and that's a comforting feeling.
What about the question of big firm vs. small firm? Freeland McKinley & McKinley is a small firm. However, you never feel isolated from the legal mainstream. Steve is very active professionally; always interacting with other lawyers. He has partners to bounce ideas off. And, of course, in this case, having a wife, Karen, as a partner is a real advantage. And then add an excellent paralegal, Melody, to the mix and you have a well-oiled machine.
So, you can tell that my wife and I are happy clients. It's difficult to try to appear not too biased when that's exactly what we are. We like our lawyer!

Hello I'm Abigail, and I'm going to tell you my own personal testimony. Woke up one day realizing, I didn't know the first thing about getting a divorce, yet alone the paperwork involved. Mrs. McCalla had already been a mentor to me throughout many years. So of course, I immediately contacted her to gather the proper legal guidance I knew was necessary . I would recommend these attorneys to any of my family and friends. They were very knowledgeable and fought for me even when I had a citation against me. Robert was recommended to me by a friend, and my past experience with lawyers was not great, to say the least. I had always seen them (in injury circumstances) as someone who has the tools and vocabulary but essentially acts as a middle man that just takes most of what you are due. Not SO with Bob. Working with John Winer has helped me realize what it is that happened to me; that brought me into his office.
