After my accident, I was experiencing a constant headache and neck/shoulder pain. Because of the headache, I could not concentrate or think straight. Paperwork was coming in from insurance companies asking me to sign and return the paperwork. The forms and papers appeared very important but I didn't really know what I would be signing.
So, in an effort to think about myself and concentrate on "getting well", I decided to contact Bill Altman. After our initial consultation, I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. It took @ six months to recover but at least I did not have to be concerned with insurance companies and papers. Mr. Altman and his staff took care of everything for me. His assistant, Grace O'Neal was so gracious and gathered all of the information he needed to take care of my accident.

Mr. Altman is the best lawyer my family has ever hired. He is straightforward and works for you. Mr. Altman settled my case in about two and a half months which is no time for the incident I was in. I recommend Leah Altaras , on every social post I see on social media in regards to anything they’re going through.
Leah is an Advocate for righting wrongs, I met her as a Prosecuting Attorney, and when my life was altered in an MVA I called Her for advice, and she was willing to take on my Personal Injury case.
I was compensated by the other guys insurance the maximum amount as well as my own under insured coverage.
At about 80% recovery, after a year of Physical Therapy, I was hit again, MVA. Compounded injuries, a tough fight, but Leah has that “fight” in Her, as do I, and we recovered well, in the 2nd MVA case as well.

Over a year ago I began one of the hardest journeys I have ever walked!! Fighting for custody in the state of Virginia as a father is a lot more difficult than you could ever imagine. Throughout the process I had 3 attorneys. By the time I got to Mike I had almost lost all hope. He was very knowledgeable in the entire process and he was very patient with me. He spent more time and effort than the other two attorneys combined. He was extremely helpful with making me aware of the entire process, and gave stellar advise that eventually allowed the final win for my son!! I’m writing to highly endorse attorney Steve Knapp for you or your loved ones who may be seriously injured or killed by the acts of another person. Steve spent 3 ½ years helping me through a very stressful and difficult process of settling my serious and permanent injury claims with the State Department of Transportation and its contractor after I crashed my motorcycle in a construction zone one night on I-5. I’m very lucky that Steve got involved in my case early on. Steve immediately began gathering evidence to support my claim that the onramp had been left in a negligent condition which caused me to crash that night. Steve kept telling me that the facts of my case were like “spokes in a wheel” and his goal was to build me a wheel full of spokes, which he did do. The State and its contractor denied any responsibility to me for more than three years after my accident. They claimed the accident was entirely my fault or someone else’s fault other than theirs. But Steve was relentless and left no stone unturned in working up my case. He went to the DOT archives and found great records for my case; he investigated the accident scene; and he located and met with several witnesses and got written statements from them in support of my case. I was able to sit in on a few depositions of witnesses, and watching Steve was great. He was very prepared for each one, and he seemed to almost know what each witness would say, even before they said it. He was able to use the witnesses testimony to build lots of spokes in my wheel. Steve used to do defense work and he knows how the defense looks at a case, which I think gives him an edge because he can anticipate where the defense witnesses will attack his clients’ cases and he can prepare for it. Steve had me fully prepared for my own deposition by the defense attorney and for my examination by the defense doctor. Steve finally overwhelmed the DOT and its contractor with evidence that their negligence caused my accident, and we were ultimately able to reach a settlement of very high six figures. Steve is a down to earth kind of guy who is very easy to talk to. He kept in regular contact with me so I always knew what was going on with my case. I’m extremely happy with the work Steve did for me on my case and I give him my highest recommendation to anyone who has been seriously hurt or even killed by someone else’s negligence. J.

I was in a bicycle accident in Seattle. The road had a sand patch in the bike path. When I was involved in a motor vehicle accident, Pellegrino was incredibly helpful getting a resolution with an opposing insurance company. Because I did not have insurance on my small motor scooter, the other driver's insurance company tried to claim I was responsible for the accident. Pino agreed with my take on it, and fought hard to get them to take responsibility. Through negotiations, he was able to get exactly what I wanted, my vehicle to be repaired and my missed work compensated. I couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend his services to anyone involved in a similar incident.

Paul handled what was a messy divorce to start with. From start to finish, finances and child custody went smoothly considering the circumstances. I was referred to Elizabeth by one of my healthcare providers, and while I was scared to reach out at first - it was the best decision I ever made. After a life threatening injury accident, I very nearly tried to settle with the driver's insurance company on my own. What a mistake that would've been, but the lawyers I'd interviewed were more like car salesmen than legal advocates. Soon after I started making a tragic series of uninformed decisions, I had the good fortune to meet Jason. I must have seemed overly cautious, but he stuck with me, taking time to explain everything. His larger than life personality is more than perfectly genuine, it's perfectly suited to his profession.
At every turn, Jason clearly knew his stuff, from legal nooks and crannies to the maelstrom of hospital/doctor/fire dept billing depts, and insurance adjusters (one after another). Jason is a master communicator, forthright, practical, and shrewd.
To find a trusted lawyer is even more important than finding a trusted mechanic. The trauma, stress and uncertainty I'd been dealing with steadily faded and I was able to get back to my life! Even as we continued to wait on the other side, Jason would phone me with status updates and include me in his thought process.
Jason works incredibly hard.
