David was a phenomenal advocate for me as I proceeded through my divorce. He considered my interests and preferences, informed me of the law and fought for what was best for me.
On those occasions where the opposing party made threats and seemed poised to derail the process from a reasonable outcome, David successfully "talked me off the ledge" keeping me apprised of my rights and the law's view of the issues in my case.
I most strongly recommend David Starks. I do not feel that I could have had better representation in my case or obtained a better outcome.

I have the displeasure of dealing with legal conflict in my regular professional activities. In the case where David assisted me, it was most personal in nature related to my family situation. I can therefore say, that David is an outstanding and experienced Lawyer as well as wonderful Human being. These characteristics makes him look at cases holistically, which is an extremely rare strength in the legal profession.
I do not have strong enough words to describe how well he guided me both emotionally, tactically and strategically through the process, always with a foresight of what was coming next. The execution of the formal legal process was superb. In addition, he was most helpful when I asked all my pesky questions that were most likely annoying to him - and the dialogue was ongoing even during weekends and during his family obligations in a shockingly timely fashion - I have apologized to his family.
I believe I have made a new friend
Nobody wishes to be in a legal process, especially one related to one's near and dear.
If I ever will be in ANY legal process again, I would do whatever was in my power to have David by my side.

I was provided with advice, information, and the necessary forms to navigate the court system in King County. I ended up drafting the necessary forms and hired Mr. Hawthorne to review, revise, and file the documents with the court. Atty Patrick Waters is by far one of the best lawyers based on my firsthand experience when I hired him as my legal counsel. He really takes his time to listen to the client and gives you his knowledge about the case and his expert opinion on it. He doesn't sugarcoat anything so rest assured you will get truthful and unbiased feedbacl. He provided me with answers to my questions. In addition to this, his demeanor was very accommodating and friendly and you don't get that from most lawyers. I felt very at ease the whole time I had lengthy dicussions with him either through the phone or in person. He was a powerhouse and a formidable lawyer during trials. Because of his knowledge and expertise, I won my case which he had already had foresight of even before the verdict came out. I hired Caleb as my back up for amicable mediation. When this plan failed, Caleb stepped in as my full time lawyer. In the 2 year 9 month long divorce process, I was unbelievable impressed with Caleb (and Susan, his para-legal!).
There was no detail overlooked.

In just the one hour initial consultation I had with Elizabeth she captured everything that was important to me in terms of my desires and goals. She never lost sight of my personal needs through the entire process. Good faith mediation was important to my ex, as was keeping costs under control. Elizabeth charted a course that allowed for exactly that. In the end I have good relations with my ex, a thoughtful parenting plan, and I have my beautiful kids half time in my own home.

Wallace Francis is an exceptional attorney and I would recommend him to anyone who has an ethical case.
Like most litigants, he is absolutely committed to his clients' financial interests. Yet he also recognizes what matters outside of money. He offers solutions that consider all factors. An example would be if a client had to pick two options, one that would likely yield $10,000 and another would gain $6,000. While one might think the obvious answer is $10,000, Mr. Francis might offer caution with what the emotional and timing costs would be to get the additional $4,000.
In my particular case, he was amazingly helpful. During a very dark time of my divorce, he was the only attorney who willing to meet with me on a Saturday. He listened to my situation without judgment and offered a small amount of compassion along with outlining a variety of legal options I had.
Ultimately I think Mr. Francis passionately cares to help people who are against malicious litigators, narcissistic people, or any sort of bully in the legal system.

My case involved a State probation violation which is pretty cut and dry. If you screw up.... you get punished severely.
Not only did Ann have a good game plan for court but she was able to get me in to see the Judge in record time. I couldn't have asked for a better turn out either. No slap on the wrist, no fines or fees, and I got what I wanted by the end of it all.
She was all business, and thats all I wanted. No muss, No fuss, and no drama. She told me what she was going to do, and our day in court was successful. I would recommend or use Ann again.

I was arrested on a felony charge under a highly questionable legal basis. The charge was reduced to a misdemeanor, but the prosecution continued. Ms. Slone moved to have charges dropped for illegal search and seizure, but the judge refused. Ms. Slone filed an appeal, and the appellate court ruled in our favor. In an unusual circumstance, the three judge panel ruled unanimously. Ms. Slone is professional, yet friendly, and she sure got the job done for me. Highly recommended.

I would definitely recommend David Gilbert. I called at the last minute to find help with a couple misdemeanors which I thought would be on record forever. Even though he could not meet for the case because he already had another client who had a trial at the same time as mine, he was able to guide me through the whole process. Since I had never had any trouble like this before, I was not familiar with what to do or what to say or what not to say. He instructed me in the process and what things meant depending on what was presented to me in court. Things worked out pretty well and there will be no misdemeanors on record if there are no violations in 90 days. He even called to check on how things went after the settlement conference. He always took my calls and I truly appreciate him for the help he provided.
