Mr. Ferszt had an appointment set for a specific time. He failed to meet that appointment time and when I called to understand why he did not meet the time he was rude. He said that he had not gathered the appropriate information. Without calling to discuss his needs, he did not show up to the scheduled meeting. He then determined we were not a good fit. I tried to explain our previous conversation and he did not remember it. He rudely claimed our arrangement was not a good fit and hung up after a 1 minute conversation. I had a time sensitive matter. I counted on his counsel and he did not follow through. I am now left scrambling. As a law student myself I know when there is good representation and bad, while this is short of a violation of the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct it does not rise to an actual violation. We may end up as opposing counsel someday and I risk the repercussions of a review like this. However, if you are a client seeking counsel -- there are better choices and I have a duty to warn you.
