Chris at Pixel Law was so easy to work with! He had great communication with quick responses! I had a small business LLC made and our initial phone call was on a Tuesday and I had my LLC and EIN by the end of Thursday…2 days!! He answered all my questions and explained what I needed to know! Will definitely work with him again if I need more business related help!

As a new owner of an LLC set up by Chris Brown, I can personally recommend his legal services to any aspiring or current entrepreneur. I did a ton of research over the past month on starting a business. Armed with that knowledge and a stereotypical view of lawyers, I set out to find someone to help me through the process. I spoke with one lawyer too busy to call me back. Strike 1. I spoke to another lawyer who was no longer in private practice. Strike 2. BUT he did point me to Chris Brown, which ended up being a home run. Before contacting Chris I visited his website. Well, it was more of an occupation than a visit - I went through all of the free resources on his site including his blog and realized that he just provided me most of the information I learned over the past month in a more clear and understandable way. I also got a sense of what kind of lawyer and person Chris was - a very tech-forward, practical, family man who is committed to helping develop the technology and small business community in the KC area. It was a lot more genuineness than I was expecting to find in a lawyer! Chris responded quickly to my initial email and spent enough time with me on the phone to give me the confidence and comfort to move forward with the LLC creation. We scheduled a morning Zoom call to go over more of the nitty gritty details and answer all the questions that I had. Chris was able to complete the rest of the process via email and Docusign. I owned a new company by that afternoon without ever leaving the house. Now, you will find a lot of people on the internet that will say you don’t need to pay someone to start a business for you, or that you can use countless legal websites to do it on the cheap. Even Chris will tell you those are options. DON’T DO IT! I am the first person to jump at an opportunity to save money, but I know that in business you have to understand value. Chris’ fixed fees are very reasonable and you aren’t hiring him just to fill out forms, you are hiring him to help you understand the forms that are being filled out and to make sure they address your specific needs. Beyond that, Chris has been very good at answering any follow-up questions and providing guidance on next steps for me now that the business exists. He wants his clients to succeed and doesn’t just drop you after you sign the last form. I’m already looking forward to working with Chris again to trademark my business name and logo!
