Tomorrow we will pick up a second check from Gerry. In a very complicated case he was able to get us maximum dollars. What impressed me most was his willingness to say he had never had a case like our case, so he really didn't know how it would turn out. He used the expertise of his partner to navigate the case. A few years ago I injured my right arm when a vehicle jumped a curb and almost ran me over. After struggling for some time to deal with the at fault driver's insurance company, I sought legal help and advice from Jerry Sloat. I cannot recommend Jerry and his entire office staff highly enough! They were prompt and courteous and most important they were knowledgable, thoughtful and successful. From the person who answers the phone to the paralegals and up to Jerry Sloat, they explained their procedure and worked with me to get medical records etc and took care of every detail. They took the time to listen to me and to understand the nature and extent of my injuries and their effect on my daily life. They encouraged me to follow up with my orthopedic surgeon when I was at the point of thinking I would just have to live with the issues and pain. When you have a situation that seems to drag on like that it is very helpful to have a support team on your side. In the end they successfully negotiated payment for all of my medical bills (almost $100,000 worth) and were able to secure me some extra $$ to account for the whole order. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone - but if any of my loved ones have to deal with a similar problem in the future I will INSIST that they work with Sloat and Nicholson.
