My world was turned upside down by a vengeful/vindictive ex who set me up, misrepresented and outright lied while I got charged with heinous misdemeanors and a potential felony. I called Jennifer as she had successfully represented me in a DWAI case in the past. Ms. Watkins listened to me, was compassionate from the start, tried to make sense out of a situation that didn't make any sense and most importantly, said she believed me when no one else did. She kept me up to date on what was going on through the whole process, telling me the truth even when it was not good. Early on, she stated her opinion on the mental makeup of my ex, and she turned out to be spot on. Everybody believed my ex it seemed except Jennifer and my son. I'm a pessimist so was not feeling positive at all, but Jennifer stuck with me and even with a bad change of judge at the last minute finally got through to the prosecutor and convinced him that she was lying. I was given what I believe the best possible outcome short of dismissal of charges. I couldn't be happier and am still processing the last 7 months of hell. Contacting Ms. Watkins after my arrest was an excellent decision all around. She's very supportive and helpful, with a professional but personable manner. Her knowledge of the local court system and personnel really helped us get a favorable outcome and her advice and reassurances kept me feeling like I knew what was going to happen and what my alternatives were.
