The assistants and attorneys are all extremely prompt and helpful. Our timeline ended up far more accelerated than what we had originally intended, but they were still able to get everything we needed done promptly and did an excellent job communicating with the other parties to make sure everyone understood and had what they needed.

I found Michael Smeenk because he had written an article on seller financing, and the house we were interested in was offering that. The sale was moving quickly and Michael was able to counsel us at the last minute. Whenever we needed a document reviewed or advice he responded promptly and thoroughly. He was a great resource and I can't recommend him enough for real estate transactions.

Hired this firm and the first attorney was the worst attorney I have ever dealt with he left the company in the middle of my case. After paying for his services or lack there of I was told it would cost me $XX to get to an outcome before it moved on to a possible trial this never happened and the invoices skyrocketed from what I was told. After several months into my case I was informed the insurance company would not pay as they had a very clear out which seems like any decent firm could have and should have easily figured this out from the beginning. Although I felt I had a great case I eventually realized my attorney bills were most likely going to eat up everything I might get reimbursed from the massive financial loss we had already incurred which is why we hired this firm and made our claim. Like the old saying goes “salt in the wound”. So I asked this firm to drop my case and of course one last massive bill arrived. I did question what happened to my second retainer and why was the bill so high but never received an answer. Instead of trying to fight a law firm over an invoice they created I reluctantly paid the extremely high invoice. It was just a really bad experience I had with this firm and would not recommend them. Tom

The issue was mildly complex and required experienced O&G counsel to give me comfort regarding a proposed real estate transaction. I received sound advice and reasoned answers. These guys are very busy. I was not able to get anyone to return my call or answer questions. They want to be put on retainer which is fine. But getting someone to call me back to pay is almost impossible. I feel they don't like working with small business owners.
