These inept clowns are more concerned about getting wrongful convictions, then actually investigating anything, to see if they are prosecuting based upon Lies. They Coached my Sister how to Lie in Court, then Judge only allowed part of 9/11 tape to be played, ensuring a conviction on me. Judge also corrected sister's Lie in Court, to collaperate with statement!!! There are Truthful reviews up on Courts & Sheriff's Dept as well!!! Bunch of Criminals who ruin lives, & have no interest in justice at all!!!

I am deeply disappointed in the performance of District Attorney Brian Mason. His handling of the case involving Jeremey Rocha has been nothing short of a miscarriage of justice. Despite clear evidence pointing to multiple shooters and a history of violent behavior by Johnathan Jaros, Mason failed to conduct a thorough investigation. Instead, he unjustly sentenced Jeremey to life without parole for defending himself. The 17th Judicial District Attorney's Office, which represents the people of Adams and Broomfield Counties, is supposed to seek justice on behalf of crime victims and their families. It's disheartening to see such poor judgment in the people hired to serve and protect our community. How could Adams and Broomfield Counties allow someone like Brian Mason, who was elected in November 2020 and assumed office in January 2021, to be the chief law enforcement officer? Brian Mason's actions suggest a troubling pattern of corruption and incompetence. We must revisit any other cases he has overseen as DA, as his conduct raises serious concerns about the integrity of the justice system under his leadership. The people of the 17th Judicial District deserve better. The office, which prides itself on reforming the criminal justice system, needs to reassess its commitment to true justice and accountability.

My beautiful beloved son was murdered by one of his deputies. My son was premeditated murdered because they were man hunting and they are at the very least responible for his murder! His beautiful hands were up cuffed and stuffed outside of his vehicle window.

“Commission members view this Charter as a visible demonstration of what our country's founders envisioned; a government based on self-determination. The Commission also understands that a self-determinate form of government demands citizens’ participation. To that end we submit to the City Council this proposed Charter written to be concise, simple and require fiscal responsibility, accountability, and the ultimate importance of citizen participation in all matters of local government.” 1
CFH Charter Prefatory synopsis- preamble Authored by Commissioner Ted May
Holding and Reasoning (Burger, C.J.) Clear and convincing evidence is the standard of proof needed to involuntarily commit someone for mental-health treatment. Under its parens patriae powers, the state has an interest in protecting citizens who need mental help. However, an involuntary civil commitment not only takes away a person’s liberty but also creates a stigma that often follows the person throughout his life. Addington v. Texas 441 U.S. 418 (1979); Blackledge v. Perry, 417 U.S. 21 (1974) In Pearce, this Court held that the defendant’s fear of retaliation in response to an appeal can have a chilling effect and violates the Due Process Clause. Therefore, it was unconstitutional for the prosecutor to bring more serious charges against Perry before his de novo trial. Court’s. holding in North Carolina v. Pearce, 395 U.S. 711 (1969), established that due process is violated where an increased punishment, motivated by vindictiveness.

Worst District Attorney office ever. My family was impacted by the actions of a drunk driver, we thankfully were not hurt in the incident, however, the drunk driver struck our vehicle, no insurance, fled the scene, and hit another vehicle all the while trying to run over his girlfriend. We did our due diligence of creating a police report, gathering evidence of who hit our car through security footage, and taking pictures of the damage done to our vehicle, all info and statements were submitted to the proper authorities. In a years time we have not received any information or paperwork in regards to a case number, court dates, or any victim impact statements, point blank nothing from the Adams county district attorney's office. We gathered information on the case only thanks to the internet, we showed up in court today, which was a scheduled date for the drunk driver, well, the driver took a plea deal and got out of the court today (2/27/19), we spent almost 2 hours sitting in the courthouse only to be told that we cant do anything with filing for the damages to our vehicle caused by the drunk driver, the district attorney only gave us a quick patch solution of passing the buck back to us being at fault for not calling the DA (WHICH WE DID ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS), we said we did and have left messages with voicemails, then the DA stated that we were mailed paperwork (which is false because the courts never had our mailing information or the DA for that matter), which we had to submit to the courts in order for them to have a restitution request. The amount of inconsideration by the DA at that courtroom was disappointing considering they are there to serve the community of Adams county.
So if you need someone to be the voice of your case in adams county DO NOT COUNT ON THIS OFFICE AT ALL, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN THE CONVICTION RATE THAT THEY HAVE FOR THEIR ASPIRING ATTORNEYS, INSTEAD OF THEM HELPING THE VICTIM WHEN THEY ARE IN TIME OF NEED.
I would never deal with this office if there was a way I could avoid it. Unfortunately, as a resident of adams county I have no other choice, luckily for me, I can vote until I see the change that this county desperately needs.
