My experience with Joanna Smith at Smith Law P.C. couldn't have been better. The need to have a Will or a Trust completed before the inevitable happens is crucial for the family members you leave behind. When I walked into the Smith Law office, being a life long "do it yourself" kind of guy, and working with internet available material being advertised as perfectly acceptable in Colorado courts, I thought I had put together an estate plan that would cover all the bases; the Will, Durable Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, Beneficiary Deed, Living Will, etc. Joanna was quickly able to show me that although I meant well, a lot of what I had put together wasn't going to be acceptable in a Colorado Court, and some documents weren't worth the paper they were printed on. Lesson learned: Having a lawyer like Joanna put the entire package together for you concisely and thoroughly and of course acceptable in any Colorado court is worth every penny, and believe me, it wasn't all that many pennies! I highly recommend you take your need for a Will or a Trust to Joanna.

When my sweet wife of 53 years passed it was time to rework the old will or make a new one. Smith Law was located only two block away. I started asking around about the firm. Three friends had used Joanna in the past and were satisfied. So, I called and talked with Rachel her legal office manager and got an appointment. From begin to end the advice and service provided was top notch. Just exactly what I needed in this lost time of my life. She helped me back on track and I am grateful. The prices were reasonable. It was a blessing.
