Steve is AMAZING!!! I have always been on the "law enforcement" side of the law and suddenly found myself in a situation I never thought imaginable. I found Steve and he was a GOD SEND. Steve jumped right in and went into 'shark mode' - we never even had to go through the whole court process because he took care of it immediately with the DA's office. He saved me so much time and took a lot of the stress off my shoulders. Then he was able to recommend another awesome attorney to take on the civil suit process after I was exonerated. It's been an amazing experience. I recommend him to ANYONE who needs an attorney. He is the BEST of the BEST. Hopefully I never need a criminal defense attorney again, but if I do, Steve is who I will call. I will recommend him to any friends or family who may need one. You have no reason to look any further - Steve is your guy. :)

Unlike the stereotypical attorney, Steve Rodemer cares about me as a person, not just a client. In fact he isn't a typical lawyer at all. Yes, he is extremely intelligent, experienced and professionally savvy but approachable, available and compassionate as well. I spoke with several lawyers before I met Mr. Rodemer (Steven). I hired him because he was the ONLY ONE who seemed to TRULY CARE about what I was going through and how it could effect my life. Then in court I was amazed at how strong he fought for me. I had never seen a lawyer that great except on tv! Every one I had before was just going through the motions like they was bored. But I have FRIENDS that wouldn't try so hard as Mr. Rodemer did for me! I hope I never need to but if I ever need a lawyer again why waste my time with all the others! I hired Mr. Steven Rodemer for my felony DUI case, and I am beyond pleased with my outcome! If I could give more than five stars I would, this man definitely knows his stuff!!! He practically pulled off the impossible with my case. I'm not too sure if we can go into details on these reviews but he definitely made history with my case with a new felony DUI laws. To put it bluntly, Steve saved my life. There really are no words to adequately express my gratitude to Steve and his incredible staff. So, to give this review teeth, I think you first need to know the seriousness of the charges. I was falsely and deliberately accused of horrible and unthinkable acts. Charged with attempted murder in the 1st degree and 1st degree assault with a deadly weapon. Never having been in any kind of trouble, my knowledge of the legal system was limited and naive at best. I honestly thought they would investigate and it would all be over in a few days. I was wrong. The first lawyer I hired wanted to “just make a deal” for 16-48 years in a state prison and collect his fee. The D.A. at Jefferson County...well let's just say I had completely lost my faith in the great American legal system. After I fired my first lawyer and refused to make a deal and admit guilt to something I did not do, my family and I started searching for a lawyer outside of Jefferson county. We found Steve Rodemer! From our first meeting he made me feel comfortable. I felt like I was with a Rugby buddy or sitting with my brother. I no longer felt like a case number or a file. Steve reminded me of the beauty of the American legal system. I am innocent until proven guilty. His confidence gave me confidence and more importantly, hope. Steve did more in the first week after taking my case then my previous lawyer did in the whole year of his so called representation of me. Steve and his staff conducted a full and thorough investigation of everything and everyone, including me. He filed multiple motions on my behalf. He interviewed potential expert witnesses. Hell, he probably could have been his own expert witness, with his exceptional understanding of forensics. At every pre-trial hearing I felt more and more confident having Steve standing next to me. I actually felt like I was being represented, like I actually had a voice In the system. Steve made only one promise - “I will fight all the way” and he did! The way Steve interacted with my children and I, made us feel like he was personally vested in our family and our future. Steve’s actions, his speech, his emotions, it all made us feel like he wasn't just fighting for his client, but fighting for a member of his family. One of his more impressive qualities is his quick thinking and flexibility, which he exhibited during trial quite effectively. The way Steve handled himself at the trial was professional and yet so human. His interaction with the judge, the jury and the prosecution was amazing to watch, considering he had very little knowledge of the inner workings of Jefferson County courts. In the end, thanks to Steve and months of hard work, he and his team put in, the jury came back with a full acquittal, NOT GUILTY on all charges. When I tried to thank him, he just looked at me with that sideways grin of his and said - “I knew you were innocent, I just had to show them that...” Well Steve showed them! He executed his duties as my advocate with honor, class, dignity and professionalism. I owe Steve Rodemer a debt of gratitude I can never repay. Thank you Steve, Emily, Andy and the rest of your amazing staff!

My father was initially charged with ​attempted murder in the 1st degree and 1st degree assault with a deadly weapon. Being that he's a latino man, he really stood no chance of winning—especially in Jefferson County, Colorado. Our previous attorney didn't really do anything to fight for my father. The only motion he ever filed was the motion to serve as the attorney on the case. He urged my father to take a deal that would've put him in state prison for 16-48 years. The night before my father was supposed to take the deal we were approached by a family member who suggested seeking council outside of Jefferson County. We found Steve online and called him at 8:00 on a Sunday evening. He answered the phone and after giving him a short explanation of my father's case he told me not to let my father take that deal. The next day my father fired his attorney before the court hearing, denied the deal, then hired Steve. It was the best decision my father has ever made in his entire life. From Steve's first day as my father's attorney he fought for justice and never stopped. Because of Jefferson County's harsh team of District Attorneys, we hit many road blocks. For almost year year on the case Steve and his team worked every single day to defeat the opposing side. They hired expert witnesses, did intense investigative work, and combed through hundreds, maybe even thousands of pages of evidence. As the trial week approached Steve and his team were ready well before the actual start date. They were prepared and confident. During trial Steve was professional, accurate with every single statement he made, and most importantly quick on his feet. He was able to combat every single thing the DA threw at him. By day one you could tell that Steve was a winner. And he was. My father was unanimously acquitted of ALL charges. Not only did Steve give my father his freedom and life back, but he proved to everyone that he was innocent since the beginning. Without Steve and his team I am sure my father would be sitting in prison right now, for the rest of his life. If you are considering hiring Steven Rodemer as your Criminal Defense Attorney I say consider no more. He is without a doubt the most hardworking, compassionate, and talented attorney in Colorado!
