David Foley is an AMAZING attorney. He first began representing me in 2002 on a Felony assault case. As my addiction to alcohol and drugs grew, so did my involvement in the legal system. He was worth every penny we ever paid him, but more than that. At the end of my run in 2007 he was court appointed and I did not pay a dime. I was facing 4 new felonies and several misdemeanors. I deserved a hefty prison sentence. He watched me fall deeper and deeper and even called me out on it in the hallway of the courtroom by saying "I can smell the booze on you from across the hall." I will never forget those words because at that point it was no longer about being my attorney, it was about me destroying myself and him being genuinely concerned. At this point the DA was done with me, but Mr. Foley was not and he fought for me to get treatment. He did not have to do that, and I do not believe that anyone else would have done it, but he did. I went to treatment on a suspended sentence of 10 to 32 years. I am here, 9 years later and my entire life has changed. I have never been back to court, I have been sober ever since. I have an Associates degree, currently working on my Bachelors in Psychology (Honor Student). I have been employed at the same place for 7 years, even being awarded employee of the year a few years back. I am proud of the person I am today. Mr. Foley could see my need, new the system well, and had the right strategies and contacts to make things happen. He was much more than my attorney, he was my ally. He fought harder for me than I did. I will be forever grateful for what he did for me and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who finds himself involved in the legal system.

Shimon is an excellent attorney. Extremely dedicated to his clients often going above and beyond the average attorney. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel in his practice areas. Very grateful for his services.

I was a client of Doherty Law. I was originally given counsel that they not only would defend me, but the case against me had no merit. After taking payments for 3 months from me, I had fallen behind one months worth of bill from them. They refused my calls and stopped working to defend me. The advice that I had received was to settle. Even knowing that I have not done on wrong, I should settle. I paid the one month bill up and they quit because they didn't like me saying that I didn't feel like they had defended me properly. I would not recommend doing business with them unless you have deep pockets and never say anything to offend them.
