The firm was very receptive and attentive to my request for services. As a potential client residing outside the state, I contacted the firm on 9/12 and requested that an attorney contact me back. I recently had a conversation with Susan about a personal matter that may or may not require legal counsel. During that conversation, I learned quickly and succinctly about laws relevant to this matter and what any next steps might be. I called in for legal representation to learn a bit more about my situation, right off the bat the receptionist was super rude and dry. I asked questions about my cases and how to go about hiring a lawyer but apparently as a civilian I'm supposed to know everything about law according to the kinds of answers I was getting. she would be like umokayyy with a rude tone like is this how you treat your customers? then they pass me over to the lawyer and he also doesn't want to answer questions I asked for a bit of details on how my case will go this guy says well I'll talk to the DA come up with a plea deal if you like it you take it if not you go to trial (really? the most obvious statement ever) just another annoyed answer, on top of that they wanted their deposit before giving me any details at all in my particular cases. Instead of paying $1500 for your $4500 I ended up going with $6500 flat fees just because of how you guys handled yourselves. You guys treated me like my questions were annoying you, it is by far the weirdest strategy to obtain business I have ever seen. 7/10/2024 To answer your response the lawyer I called after you literally looked up my specific cases and gave me specific details without asking for a dime. You said and I quote without the deposit first you will not look up my case and give me specifics. Also, the rude receptionist detail I gave wasn't addressed. I do appreciate the response therefor I'll add one more star to this review.

Hiring Susan was the best decision I made! Super knowledgeable and polite. She didn’t make me feel like my particular case was just another case and made a personal connection to work together to get the case resolved. She knew the ins/outs of the law and all the details of my particular case. Wouldn’t only recommend but probably wouldn’t go to anyone else especially in Colorado Springs. Also huge shoutout to her partner Mr. Anaya for filling in while Susan was out. He is also super knowledgeable and polite. 10/10 would recommend this law firm to anyone!

Hiring Susan was the best choice I made when facing recent charges. She was extremely knowledgeable when it came to knowing the criminal defense laws especially considering her time as a former District Attorney. She took her time to look over all the INs/OUTs of my case and gave me the confidence that this was a winnable case over the course of my year long case. Susan always made me feel like she really cared about me and that I was not just another "Case". Even when her partner, Mr. Anaya, had to fill in for her one hearing he did a fantastic job of knowing the specifics. Not only did Susan get my case dismissed and all charges dropped, but she saved me from having to take a plea deal in which I would have had to spend a lot on over a two year period. Not only highly recommend, but would ONLY recommend, hiring Susan if facing any charges.
