Brighter Day Law been so much help and been there for me and my family with our case. I contacted Brighter Day Law last fall as I was going thru a divorce. Initially everything was going well until it didn't. It's honestly hard to even put in to words how thankful I am for choosing Brighter Day Law. Jason Hilton, Lonie Savage and the rest of the team blew my initial expectations for my custody case out of the water. Everything I fought for was easily attained at final orders. I could not be more disappointed with Brighter Day Law and the way my case was handled. I have never felt more misunderstood and embarrassed regarding my divorce case. I did extensive research on the best divorce attorney in the area when I filed. I knew my case was going to be high-conflict. Sydney got assigned to my case. After me voicing my thoughts and opinions regarding Sydney and how unhappy I was, Anica was told to step in and help with the case. The representation did not get any better. I told Sydney that there was no way I felt comfortable with her representing me for mediation. That led to an in person meeting in the office where Angela, the owner, just happened to be around and stopped by. She knew I was not happy with how things were going. I was right about mediation, it was an absolute waste of time and money. Not once was the interest of myself and my girls taken into consideration. I fought for weeks to change the parenting plan because it is not working with our 4 year old. Opposing council simply said "no, we're not changing it." We went back and forth for weeks. Sydney never took the time and effort to fight the fights for me. That was my biggest concern. She was not good at negotiating and standing up for me, neither was Anica. Neither one of them could ever understand why I was pushing for certain things and it was extremely frustrating to say the least. I would not recommend Brighter Day Law to anyone, especially in a high conflict case involving children.
