In general, very good experience with this firm for a rather complicated divorce (complicated both financially and for custody). Jason Hilton has been excellent, with measured advice, rapid responses and truly a delight to work with over this challenging time. If this review were solely about him, it would be 5+ The challenge I experienced that costs a star is with the paralegal staffing. The complicated financial situation required a lot of discussion with the paralegal on the case, who subsequently was replaced 3 times over the course of a year. This lack of consistency in paralegal staff and some variations in quality (sadly, my preferred paralegal was moved off after about 1 week) negatively affected my experience. Frustratingly, the communication around these changes was also relatively poor, with simply someone new on the case with no explanation or apparent transition. There is also an opportunity to generate some template guidance documents- I found myself asking questions that could have been easily covered in a simple 'here's what you need to know' document. Despite the small negative, I would still recommend Brighter Day Law (they were much, much, much better to work with than my ex's firm- she was very frustrated with them by the end) and I cannot recommend Jason Hilton as a lawyer highly enough!

I highly recommend Angela and her team at Brighter Day Law! They have helped me tremendously with my divorce. I filed for divorce November of 2019 and due to COVID it was postponed through December of 2020 when it was finally final. Angela fights for what the client wants and guides you through the entire process. I am still currently going through issues with my ex when it comes to our child.
