Due to mis-information from a mediator, we found ourselves needing an attorney quickly to help facilitate a legal name change for one of my children. Knies, Helland, and McPherson were recommended to us by a very well-respected attorney in town. Ezra Hurwitz took our case and was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The office staff was respectful and communicated well. Each time I was there, they made me feel comfortable and cared for. Ezra does his homework and tries hard to find a solution that will lessen the negativity on a young person's life. He is smart and compassionate. I appreciated how he guided me step-by-step as to what would happen and prepared me well for court. Ezra will research what he does not know. If you need an advocate involving LGBTQ matters, I recommend Ezra Hurwitz who, I believe, will treat you with respect and compassion.

Kelly Mcpherson was recommended to me by two different sources, and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire this firm to represent me in court. Being out of state, it was very difficult for me to do what was needed for a child custody matter that had been ongoing for two years. This matter had been going on for far too long had been resolved in just a few short weeks working with Kelly. She presents a fierce presence in court, and it was comforting to know that I had that type of representation. What an amazing firm to work with. I was hired to stand up the Technology/Comms for this new Law Firm. As you might imagine, that required close and detailed engagement with every person in this Firm. The Law partners are professional, kind and a pleasure to work with. The staff was equally impressive and kind. I focus on kind, as they are dealing with clients going through very tough times in their lives. In the many hours/days I was there onsite i heard amazing empathy and kindness. I saw and heard tears and angst of clients turned to smiles and hope for a better tomorrow. If you are looking for representation in Family Law, I can't imagine working with a better team. Just Amazing!

What an amazingly talented group of staff and attorneys! It's hard to believe they only opened the doors a few months ago. The firm is already running smoothly and professionally like they've been serving the community for years! I had the privilege to work with the entire team while planning their Open House. Jenni Helland has been my attorney for the last year, and will most likely be on retainer for the foreseeable future. I went through an incredibly difficult and complex custody and divorce battle that lasted over a year, and will most likely be ongoing for the next 15 years. There were interstate issues, multiple experts and evaluations that were required, and so many more issues that are too many and extreme to list. Jenni is intelligent, competent, and one heck of an attorney to have on your side in court. If your case is contested, you want an attorney who has a good reputation with the court, and can deliver in the courtroom when it matters. Jenni is all of that and more. She is not someone you want to be on the other side of during cross examination. Through all of the difficulties and circumstances, she has been there with answers and support. When all was said and done, I received primary custodial custody of my son, and he finally has the stability he needs. In the end, that is what really matters. If you care about the well-being and future of your child, Jenni Helland will do whatever is in her power to make sure that is the end-state. She cares about her clients, and she cares about the kids in the case, and has the professional ability to follow through. There's not much more you could ask for in a lawyer.
