Even though they represented the other party, their interactions with me (pro se) were nothing short of cordial and informative in representing their client in the most appropriate manner. We were referred to Kelly by a friend to assist with our custody agreement for an upcoming military move by a close friend. We are a same sex couple and the advice we were given was absolutely invaluable. Kelly went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. It is clear that the firm is more concerned with helping their clients than profits and it shows based upon their support and willingness to assist. Kelly was genuinely interested in both us and our wellbeing as parents. Absolutely amazing and we would refer Knies, Helland, and McPherson to everyone we know!!!!

Lost a case where my ex moved to another city with my two daughters without any court approval. She enrolled them in a third school without my consent. I submitted emails and text messages months prior to the trial but none were used for exhibits. Now my daughters are going to a garbage school hours away and living with my ex wife's felon boyfriend who was previously arrested for murder and selling narcotics. To be fair, the judge was completely biased for the "mom" in the case. I'm not sure why that is the case given all of the history we provided the lawyer.

Jennifer is a force to be reckoned with in and out of court. Despite all the odds stacked against me, she was able to secure custody and amiable divorce terms when all seemed lost. Definitely was a blessing in my life.

Kelly was truly an amazing attorney from beginning to end with my divorce. She is caring, listens to what was needed and made sure I was well represented the entire process. She truly cares about her clients and takes care of the hard stuff so that my stress level wasn't as high as it could have been. I highly recommend her and her partners if you ever need an attorney for family/divorce matters. Yes, she went above and beyond to ensure I was well represented!!!!

My divorce is complex, and I have two children. I didn’t know what to do or where to go. Fortunately, Knies, Holland & McPherson’s have been so helpful. And their office is so nice! Everyone there is so friendly and wants the best for me. They make it easier to cope through this frustrating time by working ever so diligently. They do the hard work! That helps alleviate some stress, so I can focus on my children, and live in the present. I do not know where I’d be without them. Thank You So Much!

Unfortunately, I have to give at least one star to even leave a review, but in all honesty, I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone! Run! Stay away! By the time your case is over, Kelly will be working for your ex while you fit the bill! We probably spent double on this case because the psycho ex refused to participate or cooperate in any way! Should have been a slam dunk of a case, right?! Nah, not when you have Kelly working for your ex! She couldn't even get us awarded reimbursement for all the extra fees we paid, and even charged us $400 MORE at the end of the case because the psycho didn't cooperate yet again!! She advised us poorly on what to do during the case, which is why I feel that we had a less than desirable outcome. She spoke often to the psycho and at one point advised her NOT to provide her income information because she would have to pay more child support. How nice of her! I really feel like we spent over $15,000 just to bend over and take it. I wouldn't mind all the money spent, or even losing the case, had I truly felt that at the end, she was sincerely doing what was best for us. But it absolutely did not appear that way. Good luck to you if you decide to go this route. You're gonna need it.

Very skilled and well respected in the legal environment. Excellent customer interaction, and brief yet very effective meetings. The staff was excellent, and Kelley demonstrates to me why she is highly regarded. If you are going for a battle, you want this team in your camp.
