My 92 yr old mother suffered a broken hip at a local convenience store where they had failed to fill in a pothole right where people walk to their front door. She had terrible pain, a hip replacement and faces a lengthy recovery to regain her pre-injury condition. We didn't want the loud "pick me-pick me" firms seen on so many tv ads. After doing research we selected Rector Stuzynski LLC. We arranged a meeting and found Mike Stuzynski , Office Manager Carrie Bush and the whole team to be an excellent choice. They were very thorough, making sure all details of the incident were understood. They were also very easy to talk to and made sure we were comfortable with the process. At all times we were keep apprised of the progress with the convenience store's insurance lawyers. We had excellent advice on how to document the history of both the accident and the recovery process to aid in our lawsuit. Mike handled the negotiations with skill. All the medical and rehab costs as well as the pain and suffering were accounted for and a settlement for $300,000 was reached. We are very satisfied with the outcome and recommend the firm to anyone who needs a legal issue addressed. After being in an auto accident in Colorado Springs, I was blessed to have a very good friend who gave Rector & Stuzynski a sterling recommendation. His sterling recommendation is now my sterling recommendation. After meeting with Michael, Terry and Carrie, it was instantly obvious they put people first. It was also obvious they knew exactly what they were doing. My surgeon threw them an inside curve with a bogus medical report. They knocked it out of the park with an independent medical exam that told it like it is. That got me the money i will need to address lingering issues.
