Excellent experience. I don't know how they manage it, but they make you feel like you are their only client. Very competent, efficient and displayed a desire to do what was best for the client. Very sensitive to timelines and budget as well as risk/reward scenarios. I recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

Dawn was my lawyer through my separation and divorce. Obviously, divorce isn't an easy experience and mine was especially drawn out and painful. What does this have to do with Dawn Ogrodny? Well, be patient and I'll fill you in. First off, Dawn is a no BS attorney. That may seem like a simple thing, but so many lawyers I have seen are more intent on "looking good" in front of their colleagues or using their clients as a means to an end in their careers. Not Dawn. She's to the point, a stickler for honesty, and she goes to battle for each client like they are her only one. Second, she made the entire process significantly less stressful. She made it easy for me to understand and helped me through every single issue that arose. And I can't say enough how much it's worth not to have additional stress in a highly emotionally exhausting process like divorce. Third, she's an enjoyable person to be around. She treated me like what mattered to me was important and helped me navigate through what was possible and what wasn't - all with an immense amount of respect and caring. Fourth, her office is exceedingly efficient. Jessica, her legal aid is amazing at keeping things organized and up to date. Both Dawn and Jessica kept me in the loop with everything, and whenever I needed help I got my calls or emails answered immediately. Lastly, Dawn is a fantastic lawyer who knows exactly what she's doing. In status conferences, mediation, and in hearings, she represented me amazingly well. She never over promised anything, but she always over delivered. She kept me grounded in my expectations of what would happen, but she didn't hesitate to push for what I needed as her client. In short, she's fantastic and worth every penny for the work her office puts in to get you through tough legal issues.

Dawn has been so helpful as a court appointed decision maker.  Co parenting can't work when one party refuses to follow the court order.  She has been so helpful ensuring that I get the court ordered time with my kids.   Jessica is on top of all communications. They have been wonderful.

This has been my husband’s 2nd time working with Dawn and Jessica. First time was regarding getting primary custody. She was amazing and did just that for him. His second time and my first was her actually taking on her first adoption and parental termination of rights case for us. She was very clear on what to expect and always made sure to answer any question we had. She was worth it. On the 21st she helped give us the best Christmas gift ever and that was the judge granting the adoption to my stepson whom now is legally my son. She was the best decision we made and are so glad we did.
