In September, I was T-boned by a driver who ran a red light and hit me at 50 mph. The driver was found at fault, and I began working with their insurance company, GEICO. Unfortunately, the experience with their adjustor was frustrating and stressful. They initially offered me $2,200 to cover medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering—on top of my car’s replacement value. This offer came less than a week after the accident, before I had even attended all my medical appointments, including a crucial spine specialist visit and MRI screenings that the urgent care doctor recommended. I informed the adjustor that I was still in constant pain and needed to see the specialist before making any decisions. Despite this, they pressured me daily to accept their early offer and even sent me a check to try to close the claim. I felt overwhelmed and unsure of what to do. They handled everything while I underwent treatment for five bulging discs in my spine. Best of all, I had peace of mind knowing I was in excellent hands. In the end, my gross recovery exceeded $19,000 (again, this does not include the cost to replace my car). Absolutely exceeds 5 star! Samantha and her team are amazing. The insurance company I had to deal with, drawn the situation out and gaslighted me, which exacerbated my pain and months to get my car fixed. But the team helped supported me throughout the process.
