Everything I was looking for in a lawyer, came from working with Dan Droege and his rockstar paralegal Roselyn. I was given the best guidance for my personal situation, I was talked off of many cliffs, and I felt heard. Hiring a lawyer is highly stressful but they got me through the ups and downs of mediation and arbitration. Dan was able to pinpoint the outcome of the final decision and was such a calming force to my incredibly anxious self. I would highly recommend this team and law firm!

Eric Limegrover is one of the best lawyers I've ever met. When I needed it most, he was there to help me out of a very unpleasant situation in a threatened D&N matter. I was falsely accused and Eric made it disappear in a matter of days, not months. If you have a problem with family law matter, you will find not better attorney in Colorado than Eric. Eric was available to me whenever I needed him, immediately interceded on my behalf, demanded to know the allegations, the status of the investigation, and the potential charges against me. In days, the investigation was closed because it became clear there was nothing to the allegations. Eric walked me through the process, made sure I understood what I facing, and managed my expectations. He made sure I knew what the worst case scenario could be, but delivered the best case. Eric exceeding my expectations in every way. If you need help, you need Eric.

Jennifer Workman takes the time to understand and listens to the story, then she is able to plan a course of action. I was referred to the Harris Law Firm in 2015 for a specific issue. My attorney was wonderful, and the firm has an upbeat, friendly feel. I got a great deal, I had good representation and it didn’t cost as much as it could have somewhere else. When that issue was resolved, the Harris Law Firm had made such a good impression, I planned to come back if I needed an attorney again. Last year I needed to pursue a change to a court order, so I went back to the Harris Law Firm, expecting great representation. I was assigned to a different attorney, who initially said the change I wanted was reasonable and agreed to start conferring with opposing counsel. Nothing happened for about six weeks, but slowly my attorney started conferring. A few months into this process, I found out opposing counsel had filed a motion against me 26 days earlier, and we had missed the deadline to respond. My lawyer denied we were late, but got an extension of time to respond, which I got billed for. I also found out about emails exchanged weeks earlier between my lawyer and opposing counsel with crucial information I was not given. Not knowing this information hurt my case and forced me to make hasty, expensive decisions. After this happened the phone conversations with my lawyer got weird. My lawyer was condescending and told me a lot of things that did not make sense and contradicted previous conversations. He told me he never thought I should pursue the change to the court order and that I had been wrong all along. This was super confusing. My lawyer had agreed to work on this case, but he waited three and a half months and several thousand dollars in legal fees to tell me he didn’t think it was right? The facts of the case had not changed, the only thing that had changed was opposing counsel was fighting me. It was almost like my lawyer did not want to pursue any resolution that was not easy or that would require any writing. The whole thing set me back almost five months and $4,000. I get that $4,000 is just pocket change in the world of legal fees, but to normal people, $4,000 is not nothing. However, the costliest thing was letting so much time pass without getting the issue resolved and having to start over with another attorney. My situation is something that cost money every month it was not resolved, so the actual cost of this wasted time was several times what I spent in legal fees. It is hard to find good representation. I think I went wrong by assuming since I had a good experience with this law firm, all the attorneys would be the same quality, but there is a vast range of quality of attorneys at HLF.
