I, as General Counsel, retained Mr. Lasater for the purpose of pursuing a claim against a faulty software product that didn't operate as offered. It was a complex case with a plethora of legal documents and issues of contract, choice of law, intellectual property, and generally litigation. His advice in the prepatory phase was honest, cost effective, no nonsense possibilities and issues. He became familiar with a large number of technical people on both sides, the technical issues of both hardware and software, some issues of securities and generally made my job simple. He also paid attention to detail in the process of depositions all while also noticing details at our location that divulged information about the defendant that had a serious impact on their position.
