When I was injured in an accident, a friend recommended that I contact Kurt Zaner to be my lawyer, and I would like to say that I feel very fortunate for choosing his firm to handle my case. Kurt Zaner is caring and amicable, and came out to meet me personally to talk to me about the process. During the two years it took to complete my recovery before the case could be finalized, the firm constantly kept in touch and every communication with them began with an inquiry about how I was doing, how my leg was feeling, etc. They even sent flowers after my surgery. I felt like they really cared about me as a person and was not just a case file to them. Even though the aftermath of the accident was an awful experience for me both physically and emotionally, Kurt and his team kept my spirits up by making me feel hopeful and confident that they would make it work out in the end, and it turned out that I was not wrong about that. The team at Zaner Harden was thorough and thoughtful, taking care of all the details for me and letting me know what was happening each step of the way, which was especially important to me. This is a phenomenal Law office! I mostly dealt with Marc early on, then Kurt and the senior paralegal Courtney during the second half. Everyone was easy to communicate with throughout the process, and advocated for me on all fronts - not only in terms of going after the parties responsible for the product failure that caused my injury (obviously the most important thing), but they played hardball with my stubborn health insurance provider as well. They even gave me some free legal advice on some heavy duty traffic issues totally unrelated to my personal injury case, and never even thought of trying to nickle-and-dime me. These guys are on the right side of the law, and unlike some others in their profession, they give lawyers a good name. Highly recommended!

I was rear-ended and my car was slightly crushed between two cars. My car had about $8,000 worth of damage and I had neck and back problems as a result of the accident. After about 4 months of being bullied around by the other driver's insurance company, who was telling me "according to our research, you should be healed by now" (you can imagine what I wanted to say back to them), I finally decided to give Kurt Zaner a call. He was recommended to me by my physical therapist. That was the best decision I ever made when it came to my car accident. Both he and his paralegal Jenny were very knowledgeable and were able to guide me through the process by giving me the best advice on doctors and what would be best for my case. When the insurance company came back with a bogus settlement figure (although it was much higher than they had offered me when I was trying to handle it without a lawyer), Kurt told me that my case was worth more and he recommended filing a lawsuit, which we ended up doing. Very soon after that, we "magically" heard back from the insurance company who wanted to settle again, but this time with much bigger numbers. Let's just say that I know someone who was in a similar accident and settled directly with the insurance company...and after the lawyer fee I still received an equivalent of 8 times as much as she did. I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend Zaner Harden Law to anyone. They are very responsive, knowledgeable and know how to get the job done.
