I can’t say enough wonderful things about my interaction with Floyd. I called on behalf of a friend who is having a horrible mold problem in their apartment and is dealing with a non-compliant landlord. Even though my friend’s case is outside of the Denver jurisdiction (where Floyd’s wife takes on cases), Floyd was extremely helpful in answering my questions and providing a list of resources and tools that would help my friend discern next steps and know her legal rights. He gave all of this advice for free. In addition, he was extremely kind and warm (which is always a plus when dealing with a highly stressful situation). Floyd and his wife have incredible hearts to serve and tangibly support people who are in need. It gives me so much hope and gratitude to know that there are such wonderful people serving the Denver community, and it inspires me to give back to others in new ways. Thanks again for the meaningful work you do!

I didn't work with a lawyer for a case, but was provided a lot of very helpful information about doing research for an issue as a residential tenant, free of charge. They seem like stand-up people who genuinely want to help.

Excellent firm and perfect for tenant rental issues! I was on a very short timeline and wasn’t sure if I would be able to get an attorney as quickly as I needed. CALS was the only one who could make it work and made me feel like top priority! Bottom line: if you have a legal issue where you’re the tenant and need advice/representation, I can’t recommend CALS enough! They also really live up to their name.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with this law firm, specifically with Floyd. He was able to provide me with helpful information completely for free on how to deal with a rental renewal issue. Best of all, his advice worked. Years ago I had a separate issue with a landlord in another state. I called multiple lawyers and nobody gave me the service that I experienced with this law firm. Seriously, do not hesitate to contact this firm. You can tell that they care deeply about tenant rights.
