I highly recommend CALS to anyone dealing with issues of habitability or eviction. They are so knowledgeable, so kind, and absolute warriors in fighting for housing justice for the Denver community. Ms. Jones answered so many questions and walked me through the (very convoluted) process and with her help, I was able to avoid wrongful eviction.

After searching high and low for a company that fights for tenants rights, I came across Colorado Affordable Legal Services, and I'm glad I did. April was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and attentive to concerns. Within our initial interaction I could see her analyzing and planning the best courses of action that worked for us and our specific situation. Along with that, within my specific situation with my landlord about two years ago, she approached each step with confidence that assured me and my family that she was going to do her part throughout the process. This significantly helped to ease our stress and frustration. It helped to have someone like her on our side providing her expert recommendations and services during an extremely stressful time.
