To those dealing with trauma or PTSD, this is not the firm for you. Towards the end I was made to feel like the problem to be solved. I was forced to advocate for myself with my own lawyer, Kathrine Reckman. Now I’m dealing with negative outcomes in regards to money being paid and timing, I wonder what would have happened if my experience was prioritized in the same way she was prioritizing his. Truly felt like she was his lawyers lawyer. Then, after telling her I wouldn’t be able to pay anymore money, $9,000 already felt like too much for the representation I was receiving, they charged me anyway. I had to stop payment with my bank and won. This is not a trauma informed firm.

I did not have a good experience with this law firm at all. Started off by hiring Ali, then got pawned off to Emma Fletcher without them even asking if that would be okay with me. Double charged me my retainer right off the bat, over drawing my funds. Never apologized for anything. Then Emma went on vacation and gave me wrong information on the appraisal of my house, had to reach out to Ali to clarify. Were so constantly busy it was hard to even set up time to talk to them. Wasted so much time/money responding to motions that were immediately thrown out. Drew up very confusing equalization settlement numbers that were never explained properly that in the end was not what I wanted and gave up way too much money. Horrible at negotiating, non-existant, would have done a better job doing it myself. Overall just made me feel stupid whenever I did talk to them because they were horrible at explaining the game plan or general procedures. Finally when things are days from being complete she tries to withdraw on me saying she feels I am not confident in her abilities (Or more likely just too busy with other cases to see mine through.) I also found out through my now ex wife later that she was talking badly about me to her lawyer and instead of negotiating preferred to hide behind her computer and send out spreadsheets. Super unprofessional is all I can say. I did not feel like a valued client at any time in the process... just another brick in the wall. Maybe that's how all divorce lawyers are idk.

Biased and unjust. Stay away if you love your family and property.

Terri has been wonderful to work with. My only wish...that I had been connected with her sooner! Terri is kind, compassionate and thoughtful. She is approachable and also persistent and determined. All qualities that have been helpful and greatly appreciated in my experience. Thank you, Terri!!
