When I first went to Alverson and O'Brien I was an absolute emotional mess, from the time MATT O'Brien walked in the room and we talked about my circumstances he was very knowledgeable but more importantly very caring I felt peace for the first time in a long time and from that moment on my full and complete trust was in his hands and he never let me down. Mr. O'Brien's expertise in the field of workmen compensation and his caring attitude helped me to receive fair compensation from workman's comp plus help for my health issues due to my injury. I retained Matt after my workplace injury in 2019. Initially, I thought I wouldn’t need an attorney but shortly after my treatments began, the insurance company made me feel very disadvantaged without the help of a professional. I sensed that I was being pressured and need the advice of an expert. Matt made an entry of appearance and my anxieties were squashed immediately! Matt guided me through a very confusing and intimidating workers compensation system, keeping me abreast of my case throughout the process. I didn’t have to worry about deadlines or other little things that I easily could have missed had I been on my own. In closing, I’m very happy with the result of my case. Alverson helped me with my workmens comp. She did a wonderful job and I would recommend her to any of my family and friends that need help if they got injured at work. She explains everything that's going on and doesnt let the workmens comp. people to not pay you what you deserve. It took me 3 months to finally get what I deserved. All her employees are very helpful. She responds to you in a timely matter with answers to the questions you ask her. She also helps you find other lawyers she cant help you.

On January 1st, 2024, my knee was badly injured from an accident that occurred at work. It was a very scary time for me because I knew that I needed to get my knee fixed because of my love for running, biking, hiking....walking, etc. I cannot express the gratitude I have for how much Maren Marcus and Erika Alverson have made sure that not only I received the care I needed but also that all of my medical expenses were paid. The chapter is not over yet because I have a little more healing to do, but I am so confident that these two wonderful ladies are going to make sure that my medical needs will be met and that I'll be able to once again run, bike, hike and jump for joy!!! They both are truly my guardian angels!!!
