I have worked with and for attorneys for over 25 years in my professional career. Chad Johnson was among the most well-informed, professional and courteous attorneys I've had the occasion to meet. I hired Johnson Law Firm to handle a dispute of a new home construction claim. Chad Johnson himself represented us specifically. Once contracted, Chad was attentive to detail, a great negotiator, he listened intently, and resolved our case favorably before needing litigation. When we reached out to Chad for a meeting we were in a panic as our largest investment was showing some serious issues. With Chad’s help we scheduled engineers, inspectors, and other experts in the construction field to see what exactly we were dealing with. He was great at explaining the process, reassuring us when things seemed to take a long time, and keeping us updated. Chad and his associate were invaluable in walking us through a difficult and time consuming legal process. When building a home, the contractual side can be daunting and intimidating for the home owner especially if they have not been through the process before. I interviewed a few attorneys who practiced construction law – side note: my recommendation is to avoid contract lawyers, focus on construction law practitioners. Of those I interviews one wanted a retainer before speaking with me, another commented my contract seemed pretty good, and the last confused me seemingly indifferent. However, Chad, fit me into his crazy schedule, and immediately reviewed the contract, guided me through it, and pointed out the good, bad, and ugly. Being very familiar with construction, he was able to explain important "construction" aspects of the contract in a way I doubt the general contract attorney could. In the end, I felt fortunate to have had his counsel and would highly recommend him to homeowners who wish to build. rebuild, or even just remodel.

Chad is organized, well spoken and delivers very professional service. When you hire a lawyer you want one that will tell you like it is - NOT what you want to hear. The former saves you money and the latter one costs you money. Chad is no stranger to the truth. He will shoot you straight. He, nor the additional lawyers at his firm, are afraid of hard work and collectively they carry a significant amount of knowledge.

Chad and his team were wonderful. We were reluctant to hire a lawyer but after our experience, we just wish we had done it sooner! They were honest and compassionate and helped us reach the best possible outcome in order to put a bad experience behind us!

I'm giving and enthusiastic 5-star review for Chad W. Johnson, LLC. We contacted Chad after an abandoned, improperly decommissioned sprinkler system on HOA common property suddenly came on, stayed on all night and flooded three of our condos. After our HOA threatened to withhold repairs and not compensate us for our lost property and income as a way to extort us into signing a creepy liability waiver they cooked up that took away all of our rights and blamed us for the debacle, we sought legal help and found Chad Johnson. Chad's quick advice explaining what we were legally entitled to and how to deal with our HOA was absolutely pivotal in our ability to get the HOA to drop their stupid waiver nonsense, agree to pay for repairs in full and commence with them immediately, like they should have done in the first place, under our Declarations. Chad was a great communicator, helpful, whip-smart and truly cared about our plight. We will definitely use him again for our next HOA calamity, and recommend him highly to others.
