When he handled a case in which I was the victim, Jbili showed up with no investigator’s notes and no idea what, if anything, the county’s investigators had discovered. Ironically, the accused was readily available and easily located had Jbili only done his job. Due to his lack of professionalism the guilty party walked. Maybe he’s mended his ways but my experience is that once a lawyer is a slacker he’ll always be a slacker.

Mr. Jbili, is an in competent attorney. Takes your money and you get a plea deal. Mr. Jbili is not in it to fight for you he’s in it to make a quick 5,000.00. Then he forces you to take a plea. That’s why he’s cheaper than other well know. Attorneys because he is not willing to fight for you. And everything you ask him is always bad news. Never anything positive from this man. He is not an honest attorney and he was conversating with the so called victim, who set me up. Please if you care about your family member do not retain this man. He’s not worth it. He lies also. Who wants an attorney like this? No one. BEWARE OF KHALID JBILI. Don’t waste your time or money.

Khalid worked tirelessly to make sure I walked away with a deal I could live with. Rather than having two drug felonies on my record, he was able to procure a deferred judgement for me. I was very impressed with the motions he put together. It's clear to me Khalid knows Colorado law very well, and I'm quite pleased with his work. I know if I had decided to go to trial, Khalid would have done a great job. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

In the last 10 years, I've worked with multiple lawyers. Once you've worked with a couple, you start to assume they are all the same. I felt like a second-class citizen and felt talked down to at times. They never seemed truly interested in what my needs were and would consistently make generalizations about my situation without gathering all the facts. Each time I left feeling like I probably could've gone online and got the same result for a fraction of the cost. Then I worked with Khalid. Khalid is the most personable lawyer I've ever worked with. Additionally, he is methodical, forward thinking, and very detail oriented. I was incredibly impressed with his presence in the court room and it is clear he knows the judicial system inside and out. I didn't find out until after working with Khalid that he began his career in law as an Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting a wide variety of cases. Working with Khalid, it was clear that his experience prosecuting gives him a unique advantage representing defendants. Khalid is a great lawyer, but it was his humility and candor that impressed me most. Through each step in the process, he explained exactly what was going on, answered all of my questions, and was able to provide legal advice in a way that could only come from someone who genuinely cares about his clients. Khalid is definitely the only lawyer I want to represent me in the future and the only one I would recommend.

Mr. Jbili represented me on a very serious and complex criminal matter involving unprecedented legal issues crossing 2 states. My issues arose fully 3 years and 4 lawyers before I engaged Mr. Jbili. Only after those lawyers failed to make any real progress in the case, but strictly adhered to what must be the official lawyer credo of "Keep you client in the dark at all costs", did Mr. Jbili enter into the case and for the first time, the real issues were explained to me from the court's perspective. I hired him largely based on his previous experience as an ADA in Colorado Springs. Mr. Jbili not only understood what the prosecution was thinking and how they were trying to attack me, but he took the time to explain it to me. The 4 lawyers ahead of him seemed uninterested in what I had to say and what I thought the issues of the case were. He took the time to ask me questions and carefully listened to what I had to say. He then used that dialogue, coupled with his own prosecutorial experience and knowledge and the evidence on hand to carefully construct a legal strategy. During our many conversations, if I felt that we were missing something or doing something wrong, he allowed me the freedom to ask why. Throughout the entire process I felt as though I had an advantage over the prosecution with Mr. Jbili. He seemed to better understand what the DA was doing than the DA did himself. We seemed to anticipate and out maneuver the prosecution at every turn and in the end, he achieved a result that the 4 lawyers I employed before him told me for years was impossible. I wish what I went through with court system and an overzealous prosector on no one, but if you ever find yourself in that type of situation, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mr. Jbili. All you have to do is to meet him for 5 minutes and you'll realize like I did that he's not like the rest.
