I was very satisfied with my experience working with Melissa. She was diligent and caring to work on all aspects of my case and was always available when I had questions or worries.

We had a need for counsel for our son, having received a phone call from a police detective out of the blue, and we reached out to O'Malley and Sawyer after being referred by an attorney friend. Melissa Segers is an OUTSTANDING attorney. We were concerned that this could impact our son's future and worried that he had a lot to lose. Upon retaining her, Melissa immediately assumed control over all conversations with the police. She was clear with us that she represented our son, not us; and also made sure he understood what his rights were. She gave him a business card with her number and a note on the back saying "I am represented by counsel" and instructed him to just hand that to any LEO that might try to ask him questions. She is compassionate, empathetic, professional, and direct. The complaint was closed without criminal charges, and we are grateful to the team at O'Malley and Sawyer.
