Monte was great. I contacted him regarding a letter I got in the mail stating that I needed to extend my ignition interlock contract for a year because of violations. He asked me to obtain my records from Smart Start which I sent to him. He reviewed them and gave me advice, without asking me to pay him a retainer. He was honest with ,e about what he could, and could not guarantee me should I decide to hire him. The DMV ended up dropping the case so I did not need his services in court. In all, he spent a couple of hours discussing my case with me, including 16 emails and 2 phone calls. Not once did he ask for money or push me to pay the retainer. His honesty as to the extent he could help me was a breath of fresh air. I have been through the courts for two DWAIs and have dealt with some lawyers who are pushy and all about the money. This is not one of them. I would not think twice to hire him should I need legal representation in the future.

I have used monte robbins TWICE for some legal trouble I was facing for speeding. I drive for a living so my license is very important. I called monte and explained to him my trouble and I needed some help. We sat down and went over everything, well monte managed to get my moving violation dropped and turned into a non moving violation so it didnt effect my license at all. My second time I used monte I was traveling through ault colorado following 2 cars around rush hour so it was busy came into town and ended up getting pulled over halfway through, the cop said i was doing 60 in a 45 which I strongly disagreed with. Anyway he wrote the ticket and let the other 2 cars go that I was following (when I saw the lights I looked down and was only doing 50 in a 45), I called monte told him what happened and he got the ticket reversed to a non moving violation so it wouldn't effect my license. Mr. Robbins helped us with a traffic violation. He explained what options were open to us in order for the DA to consider reducing the penalty. We followed his recommendations. He was able to get our penalty reduced from a 4-point citation to a zero point citation. Mr. Robbins was direct and provided clear communication.
