4 years ago I was in a car accident and sustained a serious head injury. Without Sawaya it would have ruined my life. I was fired, I couldn’t find the way to the grocery store, couldn’t remember how many donuts I ate today. I was referred by a close friend. His wife works at sawaya. I can't imagine how my life would look if they had worked at any other law firm. Here is the pitch on frank azars website “Largest in Colorado” which is code for - We can't volume, not quality. That is true for most firms. Which means less care, attention to detail, and a focus on finishing cases fast. Mcdonalds is the largest fast food restaurant, billions and billions served. I won't have life changing pain handled by the Mcdonalds of lawfirms. So I go to their offices, my friend makes sure I have a ride (more on that later) and I know where I’m going. It is not because she is a friend. She manages the department that makes sure everyone gets that level of treatment. When I talk to her about her work and her team she will often say things like “I have to have an amazing staff” or “I usually can’t have someone managing our clients until they’ve been here for almost two months because my team holds people's livelihood in their hands on a daily basis.” Sawaya’s first focus was on making sure I recovered from my accident. There is a concern in law that the legal team tries to “manage” your doctors. Find less expensive ones to keep the recovery costs low, or more expensive ones to push the amount they might get in a recovery, and that can have ramifications if a trial goes to court. Sawaya made sure I had any and all information on what “might” help, and where to get started. Without that I would not be able to type this right now. I would not have the mental capacity without a world class team of specialists and I would have never worked with any of them without going to Sawaya. A family member works in a hospital on severe head injuries and broken neck patients; her opinion was that the specialists I worked with were outstanding. Next in the story, my doctors say about 6 months I should feel about 90-95% better. At 6 months that was true.6 months and 1 day I was in a nearly identical accident, however this time the car that hit me was going faster. One of the amazing specialists was also in a car accident once and then a second shortly after. She did NOT go to Saway. She said her lawfirm was a mess and couldn’t handle it and they gave up. Too much to cover it all, here are some examples of what makes them the best. They are always patient, a rare virtue everywhere. They needed information from me at times, they needed responses, I was never rushed, I was never being annoyed. They are able to do that because they have their records straight. If they needed a document they would fill out every detail for me. You list your phone # for a doctor appointment every visit? I met with Mr. Sawaya and he knew my friend. He knew the name of a case manager’s husband. There are probably 20+ case managers. They gave me a way to pay for care and I never had to track bills, or tracking personal loss. Anything I got I simply sent a copy or a picture and they made sure that it was recorded. I have a backpack full of bills, and invoices, and receipts that I’ve only put things INTO and never had to go back and find something. They will pay your cab. Other lawfirms see drunk accidents a steak dinner. Sawaya pays for less clients. Search for Sawaya Cab program My wife had a grown man with the mental capacity of a 5yr old, AND 2 kids. She would say our life is impossible without Sawaya. More examples: my kids got a lunch box and book, and my lawyer knew their names and ages, My lawyer spent 2 hrs on a call with me during her vacation, they were ALWAYS following state regulations on covid protection, they were willing to help with any request related to my care - not just my lawsuit, and on and on. If you are reading this you are in the situation that I was, feeling like life is ruined and no hope. A lawsuit seems like the only. Sawaya is the best choice.
