I called for a free consultation on a Friday, late in the morning, and was extremely pleased to learn I could obtain a virtual zoom appointment that same afternoon! The receptionist who answered our call was very professional in her easy-to-understand verbal explanation, written text, and email on how our zoom call would be managed. Joe Novak was the attorney assigned to our case. Joe.Novak.Was.PERFECT. We were 100% satisfied with our zoom consultation with him. Joe was exceptional in guiding us in areas of uncertainty, and pointing us in the direction of potential resolutions to the questions and problems we presented. He listened intently to our “story”, and was respectful, knowledgeable, and understanding of our circumstances. He related his own personal experience of a situation similar to ours, which made us feel even more comfortable and confident in his expertise. The service we were provided by this firm was exceptional, and we highly recommend their services.

They are expensive, but worth every penny. I was at a loss as to how I would recover a large sum of money from a project to revamp a house and did not know how to proceed. I explained my situation to Richard Schmittel, he immediately knew how to proceed. Additionally, he kept his law partner, Steve Whitmore in the loop verifying each move. I felt as though I had a full team assisting me through this awful moment. Richard verified dates and confirmed deadlines, deadlines he kept and never missed. This was of great importance in my case. Richard was the ultimate professional the entire time. He would contact me each time there was a change in the case. He kept his calls short and to the point. He didn't give long either or situations. There were only a few times a decision had to be made, he stated them clearly, gave his advise, which I followed as closely as possible. His advise lead to a favorable conclusion to this case. I don't know what I would have done without his advise and expertise.

They have been extremely professional and understanding our frustrations with the purchase of our dream home only to find that our neighbor was encroaching on our property by over an 1/8 of an acre. Definitely wouldn’t recommend using this firm. Our retainer was basically “eaten” by emails exchanged. For one of the emails we got charged $200! As far as our case, they didn’t do anything and on top of it, poor follow up. The person assigned to our case left and we didn’t even know. Zero communication. DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM. The Court overlooked the motion filed to grant withdrawal for not wanting the firms representation, and the day of the hearing a firm representative called in to let the judge know about the motion been overlooked and now received an invoice charging $200 for half an hour from the firms rep dialing in, just to let the judge know that their services where no longer needed.
