So, chances are if you're reading this, that you got yourself into a bit of trouble? The bad news? Lawyer-ing up doesn't undo whatever evidence they already have against you, and you're likely going to need some sort of guidance to make the best of a bad situation The good news? You've come across one of the most trustworthy and honest lawyers I've had the pleasure of working with. I found myself needing some legal counsel about a year and a half ago. I went in for consultations with multiple lawyers, some large firms, some smaller. I ended up picking Mr. Hand because he seemed like he truly cared about my situation, which was unlike what I saw at most other law firms. Since retaining Mr. Hand, he was incredibly attentive, empathetic, and went out of his way to personally follow up on the case. He also demonstrated incredible knowledge on the legal system, and in my opinion he was well priced for the service I received from him. I would highly recommend Matthew Hand to anyone in need of his services. I would highly recommend the Law Office of Matthew Hand My case was out of the ordinary and all other attorney's I spoke with didn't give much hope. Mat provided me with all possible outcomes and realities but also confidence that he'd take every action to get a favorable outcome. I cannot say enough good about our experience with Matt Hand. We found ourselves in a very complicated legal situation that undoubtably would end with significant jail time. We interviewed several lawyers before making a decision and to be honest, reluctantly chose Mr. Hand because he was the most expensive option. Thankfully, he went with our gut and retained his representation. Best possible decision! We were able to get the minimum in sentencing which is absolutely unheard of in our circumstances. Don’t get me wrong, there was a lot of work to be done on our end, but at the end of the day I truly believe that we were as successful as we were because of Mr. Hand’s knowledge, care, direction end guidance along the way. He gets every single benefit we as human beings are entitled to. His team communicates well and keeps their clients up to date and in the loop about every decision being made. Don’t settle for anyone other than Michael. As a 8 year professional athlete, my body took a beating. I needed help in recovering my dues and he was there in a snap. I was referred to Michael Kaplan from a provider I was seeing following a work related head injury. I was so nervous to begin the process of hiring an attorney; I had no idea what it would involve or how it could impact my situation. I cannot speak more highly of Mike and Tammy. This lawyer is incompetent. After over 5 weeks of advance notice of a mediation hearing, she never reviewed the file until she was sitting in the waiting room. There are much better family lawyers available. Even a first year law student would have read the file before showing up and telling the mediator "I'm not sure I've been given the information" because she couldn't be bothered to prepare.

I was very happy with the relationship I had with them over the 3 years they worked with me . I was denied an MRI by insurance they were able to get it approved. Then when I needed a second surgery they also got that approved.

As a college student who was injured at work, as well as someone who has no idea about proceeding with a workmans comp case I owe so very much to Michael and his fantastic team! I had a face laceration and as such it resulted in a pretty nasty cut on my forehead and nose that has now scarred, but with Michael's help we were able to receive proper compensation. Elissa is a terrible lawyer! All she wants to do is repeat her self quoting the law via phone or email so she can rack up the bill on you! And to top it off when you actually need legal advice she won't advise! She will just just continue to babble the laws and hope you make the decision for your situation so she doesn't have to.. This woman won't shut up and actually listen to you. She is rude and a pathetic excuse for a lawyer! DO NOT Hire her!
