Rebecca is hands down an amazing attorney. We had spent years in and out of courts in a custody battle with an alcoholic mother. Each time she was able to chip away at the restrictions with our other attorney. As soon as we got Rebecca on the case it hanged immediately for the better. When our kindergartner’s black eye was reported to social services as possible child abuse by an aide at our school (who we don’t even know) we decided to consult a lawyer. We have heard of innocent families being put through the wringer by being wrongly put into the broken system. Though our “home visit” went fine we learned that families with children with diagnoses of ADHD and other behavioral challenges are more likely to be falsely reported. Despite being innocent of the “suspected abuse” the fact that our family has diagnosed behavioral issues, we will remain in the system as a “moderate risk.” It’s sad that seeking help for our children has made our family more vulnerable to this sort of systematic error.
