First of all, I would like to state that I am somewhat familiar with lawyers. I have been in business 19 years and during the course of that time I have engaged many attorneys for mergers and acquisitions, financial counseling, legal disputes with the State of Texas, HR related matters, contract negotiations, and litigation. Having said that, I am not an expert nor a novice. In19 years, I have never worked with a legal group that is more disorganized, incompetent, and ignorant of basic financials. What is apparent with this organization is they focus on the billing more than the service. I am not one to argue fees provided there is a demonstration of competence and integrity. Unfortunately, you will not find it with this firm It would appear that the Dadvocates and Samera were once competent and respectable if you look at the reviews. However, I would encourage you to look at current reviews. Most are quite poor and this should discourage you from engaging with them. I sincerely hope that this law firm considers these reviews b/c they have fallen from grace and should seriously contemplate dismissing Samera and her team.

They called me back and we went through the entire process of setting up the consultation only to get hung up on when I mention I didn't have the fee for the consultation at the moment. I mean life happens but that was pretty judgemental and unprofessional.

Pretty disappointed in this place. They wanted 150 up front for a consultation, when you can call and get a free one with just about any family law firm in state.

The lawyers are passionate about ensuring fathers maintain meaningful relationships with their children. I'm grateful for their legal expertise and commitment to fairness in child support negotiations. I couldn't have asked for better representation.

I am not a dad however I am pro dad and love what dadvocates offers. I recommend them to all the daddy's I know.
